I am the fundraising director for Bellingham American youth football and cheer. I also coach the 12U and pom teams. Our teams are nationally tracked and we have been fortunate to make it to the final stop in Florida for the past three years. To reduce the financial burden on families we fundraise for each athlete. One of our most popular fundraising events is our Santa dinner. Unfortunately the venue we typically use was not available this year.
We called multiple places and came up empty handed. One of our last attempts was Christalight's. I spoke with Nabely who was so helpful with booking the event which I considered last minute. The booking process was seamless and she allowed us to see the venue prior to which was extremely helpful for set up purposes. I honestly did not expect this option since we booked a week prior to the event. She also provided clear communication with me after booking until the hours before the event. Aside from that she contacted me after the fact to see if everything met our expectations. It far exceeded our expectations!
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! All the families commented on the sheer beauty of the venue throughout the evening. They also have gorgeous focal point chairs which allowed for amazing pictures with Santa. The set up is amazing for serving food. The dining hall is very spacious for the 120 capacity allowed. There is a bridal suite that we used for Santa and Frosty's changing room but again beautiful! Santa and Frosty were changing in style!
The night of the event Nicole was our guide. Such another helpful staff member! The trash bins were starting to fill up and I asked her if we should have brought trash bags. She looked at me like I was crazy and quickly changed them over. As we were ending the night and picking up she kept bringing me items that were left behind from the girls. I thought this was great and she didn't have to go out of her way to do so. Nicole also took the time to get to know who the coaches were in case she needed assistance.
The age range of athletes in attendance was 9 to 13. I honestly believe they will see an influx in sweet 16 parties in a few years after these girls saw this venue! I know my daughter will be one of them booking her special day there!

Let me begin by stating that this was my mother’s 80th birthday day. I had BIG plans for the event. We had a photographer, a photo booth (8x8 is HUGE) and we did T-shirts for the event.
These guys hooked it up!!!!
Through them I was able to not only let my mom know how much she was loved and honored but valued by the coolest process ever!
Let’s talk about the actual day of the event: they showed up early, set up their equipment, and was ready to rock by the time the 1st people walked through the door ( unhhh... I was late).They worked seamlessly with the other vendor (video guys, who they were familiar with) to keep the event process running smoothly.
So, my suggestion is to use them as well for the DJ. I had no control over the event DJ and it showed (at least I believe that it’ll show in the video that he didn’t understand when he was supposed to break/lower/stop the music).
Back to these guys. My mom called me a few days afterwards and thanked me for having them there. I got both the event photo book AND the Leather Bound album. She only knows about the 1st (cause she saw us signing it at the end of the event)one. We were able to give everyone there a T-shirt of the event as well.
Ok, price: go for it! They will work with you and your budget. I had multiple things in the air and they were EXTREMELY patient every time I panicked and thought I couldn’t get everything done on time.
It’s a family run business and their tight and professional. I was spasmatic & all alpha personality but they were understanding about my need to get my moms 80th birthday party right.
I’m planning on using them for my 60th which is in 4 years. I have no doubt that they will still be here, doing their thing, being successful.
I would recommend that if you have any type of event where you want it to be captured by a professional photographer USE these guys. You won’t regret it. It’s worth the money to get the best. These guys ARE the best.
