I brought my cat in for her annual checkup. I was told she needed her teeth cleaned, so I had him do it. She came back suffering huge effects from the anesthesia. (I've had her teeth cleaned at other vets and NEVER saw anything like this.) The doctor called me every day to see how she was doing. I was VERY impressed.

She was acting odd, so I brought her back in. He did a blood test and said she had stage 3 kidney failure. He never called me again to see how she was doing. She had a blood test before the teeth cleaning and was fine. HE over anesthetized her and GAVE her the kidney failure. He had the nerve to charge me for the blood test that showed he screwed up.

His original calls that impressed me were just him worried that he really messed up. Accidents happen. I get it. But showing fake caring (worrying is not caring), and not saying "I'm sorry", and making me pay him (for the blood test) for his screw up in inexcusable.

With a change in her diet, I dropped her from stage 3 to stage 2, but she is now deteriorating. I was just going to let it go and not say anything, but my cat is back to stage 3 and I am now watching her slowly die thanks to him.

I started bringing my cats here recently when I wasn't pleased with my prior Vet to begin with and they unexpectedly closed down. I'm so glad we ended up switching because the quality of care for my cat is 100% better. My cat has been struggling with ear infections for a while and they would never go away completely with the treatment from the former vet. I was at my wits end. So we started coming to South Bellingham with Dr. Cisse and I'm shocked at the difference in quality of care. Dr. Cisse does a great job and also helps educate you about what's going on and the treatment for your pet. My cat is doing so much better now finally and he's much happier. I highly recommend bringing your pets here. They take their time to give your pet care they need, they don't rush your pet in and out of an appointment which is a good thing trust me. Everyone there is nice and understanding. The prices are good and its close by. I wish I had trusted my gut with the other vet and went...

I was in need of an emergency visit for my cat who was experiencing frequent litter box visits, excessive meowing and loose stools. I emailed the office in the middle of the night requesting an appointment the next day if possible. The receptionist called me early that morning and fit me in. Dr. Bolduc was so personable and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or pressured into paying for anything beyond what would immediately help my cat. She offered to do an x-ray and told me the cost upfront which we did decide to do ,but there was never any pressure or hidden costs. My cat is doing better after a few doses of the medication that was prescribed. I’ll add that this was my boys 3rd visit to this vet over the past almost 2 years ( shots & neutering) and each visit has been met with pleasant and friendly staff and good recoveries for my boy!
