Kroger — Local services in Belpre

I dealt with issues recently with this store running ads online and in the in store paper ads, that simply aren’t there. It’s not the first time, it’s happened multiple times. I don’t live in town so I don’t appreciate running into town for nothing. Their solution to this was $10 and extra fuel points for two months, which I never use anyway! Yesterday I was so upset after leaving this store. They are doing a make over of the store, and have been for weeks. Not a problem, but they hold NO responsibility for the people they are using to do this. I had two men working the remodel in the pet isle and me! Not only did they continue to stay in my way of getting my #50 bag of dog food. But stood and watched me drag it from the bottom shelf and watched me load it. So I turn around to move and one of them is literally blocking me. I wanted more pet food but waited until they left the isle to go back, for cat food supplies!! Because honestly I felt a little threatened and humiliated by them. It was obvious disrespect! During this time I spoke with a young girl, wish I had her name now, about what had took place. Her response was she didn’t know and that she didn’t want to deal with drama….lol. Me either!!! I decided I’d speak with customer service about the issue. Once again I was told they don’t work for Kroger. So I guess that allows them to treat people however they want. I shouldn’t have to be upset like I was yesterday because you are remodeling your store! I have always loved this store for many years but...

I have been meaning to review this Kroger for a while now. This review is NOT about the cashier's because the majority of the time that I am in there, there aren't any! The ones that I have been fortunate enough to interact with Manning 1 single line, are pleasant. The issue is, I will NOT use a self checkout period. I never have and I never will. I have had my hands full MANY times and walked straight to line 10 and there is noone there. Each time I put my stuff back and walk out. Last Thursday morning between 8:30-9:00 am, I walked in and immediately looked to see if there was a register open. Line 10 was lit up. It is a different color of light than the self checkouts. I was happy about that and hurried and got what I needed, yes hands completely full. When I got to the line, the light was now off and noone was there. Put me in a pretty bad mood instantly. I put my stuff back and walked out. This is ridiculous. Kroger makes more than enough money to pay a couple of cashier's. If that ever happens again, I will lay my stuff on the belt and walk out. Maybe if they have to continue putting people's food back on the shelves then they may get the hint to OPEN a register with a cashier. Giving 3 stars because this store has went down hill over the years and it's sad Kroger was a very nice grocery store.first issue we have is the store is never really stocked you can get a few things but expect to have to another grocery store after because most likely they won't have what your looking for.Then the grocery pickup is kinda ridiculous we have been doing pickups for quite sometime now it started out perfect but now the last couple of months it's like our order is done half a@#ed and it's so frustrating.for example today we got enough stuff to last a few days went to pull out the stuff for tacos why did they gave us everything else we had listed but the soft tortilla shells 🤔 thank baby Jesus we had a plan B ready but sometimes a taco just hits the spot lol.so we were/are very disappointed.Nothing was listed on our substitutions list other than the juice we got but those messages about sub items are broken (at least for us) because it barely gives us time to respond back before it says we're out of time🤷🏽‍♀️😔. something so small but after so long it's just...
