If you need furniture dont buy from Belpre Furniture Galleries they treated us like we weren't important to them and took 1 whole month and a week to deliver a mattress and box spring and when we would call them to ask what is going on they said they couldnt get the box spring in and they said they would calls us on a certain day a few times and never did it. We had to call them to get updates on what was taking soo long because we needed that mattress badly. Not only that but they showed us that they could care less if we were customers or not because we told them we weren't happy with their service and that we would no longer be a customer there after this and they never even bothered to offer getting us a manager or even trying to make things right with us they acted like they didn't even care what soo ever. Lastly a week and a month later they call saying the mattress was scheduled to be delivered on Friday and we told them several times in previous calls that the mattress and box spring had to be delivered past 1pm on fridays because there was nobody available to help because im in college till about 1pm. So they called today and told us they would be here tomorrow at somewhere between 9am and 11am. Despite us telling them multiple times we had to have it delivered later past 1pm and they told us we would have to pay to have it delivered some other time because they couldn't deliver it that late. And it could be another week or even a month before they would be out again because they only deliver when there is 2-3 other delivery's in our area. The worst part about this whole thing was the customer services attitude towards us they were very rude and not honest. This probably explains why this company has such bad reviews on the better business bureau site and on google reviews as well as the Facebook reviews. Overall i would just avoid this place as much as possible. Purchase stuff from them only if its your last resort so you dont have to go through all this hassle with them like we did. Not only that but they blocked me and removed my comment on the facebook page for saying that i found it hard to believe they received a readers choice reward after the way they treated us and how they treated past customers. I have never seen a company that doesnt seem to care about their public image and wants to moderate peoples reviews to attempt to make themselves look better thats why im posting my reviews on facebook, google reviews and the BBB reviews. Buyers beware: common decency! We ordered furniture from Belpre furniture on 2/6/21 from Diana. We were told at that time that this would not be delivered until late May to early June. We called in June to get an update for delivery. We were told it is pushed out until July. We called in July. Diana said it's in production, probably have it in a couple weeks. We called in August. Looks like September delivery. My wife asked if we can get our money back. We were told NO it's in production. We call in September. Looks like October for sure. My wife and I go to Belpre furniture yesterday and ask for our money back. We were again told it's in production. I said you told us that in July, I won't our money back. Sir, we can't give you your money back. I asked where in production is it. Diana said she would call and find out. 20 minutes later she says the fabric has been cut and maybe MAYBE November. I asked for our money back again. Nope, store policy. OK let me speak with someone else. There is no body else to talk too. Diana says I can call lazy boy and get a status??? Umm didn't you just do that? Can I call you later today. I said please do. Diana called a couple hours later. There is NOTHING we can do and sir we don't have stock right now and we wouldn't be able to re sell this set!!!! What?? So you're saying you have no stock to sell. You have people coming in to buy furniture and you wouldn't be able to sell this set when it comes in?? SIR nobody has stock right now. I said oh I beg to differ! Buyer beware! Trying to shop local business and have learned a lesson. My husband and I picked out a mattress off the showroom floor and placed an order and paid for. Delivery was scheduled. I was unable to be here, but my husband was home. The delivery man said that it was a new item he had not seen this one. As soon as I returned home and seen it. This was not the one we ordered. Different color, material, guilting, or texture of firm. I called the store and asked to speak with the sales person after a couple days. I tried again and sent an email with the pictures attached requesting a confirmation they had received which they responded with. The mattress we ordered is still on the sales floor, but yet they say they’re unable to order it. That we got the new model instead. He told me they were exactly the same except for a different material.. ??? I returned to the store a couple weeks later to talk in person. They informed me there was nothing they would do for it that that’s what they had to fill the order with. The model we purchased is still on the floor being used as a display for customers to place new orders. If they know it’s a new model they should have replaced the floor model instead I feel this is a bait and switch sales method. Just a heads up there’s no guarantee what you order will be what you get and they will not do anything about it!!! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
