Ordered a new phone. The lady that helped me said that it would only take 1 - 2 business days to get my phone in the store. After the 5th business day I gave them a call. No answer. So I ended up having to drive to the store. The same lady that was all joyful to sell me a phone was there and when I asked if there was an estimated date of arrive she replied with an attitude “we will call you when it’s in”. So I left obliviously annoyed. A week later my wife tracked the package online and saw it was finally arriving to at the store. I had to go to the grocery store so I decided to go in and ask if it had arrived. Again the same lady with another attitude said “did we call you”. I said “no, but my wife tracked the package online”. Luckily another worked stepped in at that point and talked over her and asked for my name. Went right back and grabbed my phone. I was checked out and of course they tried to sell me a phone case. I told them I already had a phone case for the phone. They asked me like I had no idea what phone I was getting “but did you get it for the 7 plus”. Ashley discussed plan options and said she knew how to check my phone to confirm if it could be used with AT&T. She had it for several minutes, scrolling and clicking then checked her phone several times. I asked what she was doing and she said she was an iPhone user and she was Googling from her phone how to check the status on my Samsung Android phone.
If the staff is going to spend a lot of time with a customer's phone, I wish they would do it in such a way so the customer can see. It did not seem necessary for her to spend so much time just getting my phone's IMEI or SN info. I got really worried she was looking for financial information on my phone.    Read moreOn December 16, 2017 I went into this ATT store to close my account and join my SO’s family plan to save money. Daniel helped us. Actually, he did not help us. He began me on a new plan of my own (without my knowledge) that began accruing charges on that date. Since I was unaware of this plan, and paying my SO for my phone use, I was also accruing late fees and penalties for not paying (I never received a bill). I spoke to ATT customer service and they reversed the fees. I went BACK to this store and they promised to “take care of it”. They assured me that I am now on my SO’s plan. Great! It’s february 8, 2018 and I received a NEW bill for this phone along with new past due penalties and finally received my first bill.
