I've been to this place about 50x. The food has always been meh, the service non-existent, and the food safety practices questionable. Well yesterday I went in. It was 4pm on a Wednesday and very slow for them. I go in, fill a plate and start eating. Everything was cold and old. The boneless ribs were like beef jerky, the crispy green beans were so old, they had the consistency of snot, and the sesame chicken was like chewing a sponge covered in sugar. Everything had clearly been held way past its time because they are cutting costs by not throwing dangerous, old food out. If they do bring out a new tray, it's just mixed in to whatever is left.

I took one bite of each item and it was so bad I had to stop. I went to the counter, told the lady I was not satisfied and very politely asked for a refund. Keep in mind that I was a regular customer and my expectations started at the lowest possible level anyway. I was told that I can only get a refund when the owner is in. Okay, no big deal, it's not about the $12, it's just basic principle. I go in the next day and the owner is not in again. The lady tells me I have to wait 10 minutes for him to get in. Sure thing, again, it's just an issue of principle. Well the lady at the counter was clearly bored of her YouTube videos and decided to tell me that I was wrong. I asked her if she was saying that the food yesterday was fresh. Her response was, "no one else complained". That's a SCARY response to that question. I told her the food was old and gross and that I know that she was aware of that. She kept telling me that I was the only one with a problem.

Then I did what I should have done right away. I told them to keep their $12 and contacted the local Board of Health. Going through the reviews, it seems several people have claimed to have gotten food poisoning from this place and also had similar experiences trying to get a refund. All in all, I'm out $12 plus about $40 of my time value. If this review saves one person from a hospital trip or a day on the toilet, I say it was worth it. Horrible experience. My boyfriend and I went in to have lunch and payed for the all you can eat buffet. Could not understand the staff at all and my boyfriend had to tell the lady what he wanted to drink 6 times. Also watched them not be able to communicate with another costumer over a drink. Almost tripped over one of the workers while they were all just standing around not doing anything. The lady came over and took my plate even after I repeatedly told her I wasn’t done. After she did this I was put off so my boyfriend and I decided to leave since it wasn’t enjoyed to be there. After the lady came over and took my plate I was left with two pieces of pizza sitting on a napkin. I told my boyfriend it was very disrespectful of her to basically request me to put my pizza on a napkin so she could take my plate and that I really just wanted to leave. I then took those pieces of pizza since I was planning on eating them in the car and right as I was walking out the door the lady started yelling that I couldn’t take the pizza. Her and another worker started yelling at me in Chinese and would not give me any sort of chance to let me explain that I had already touched them so then I got frustrated and took a box. I had to wait for my boyfriend to come back with my wallet. I told another gentleman he could go infront of me since I was waiting. The workers that had yelled at me in Chinese then started yelling at this man telling him he cut me in line and wouldn’t listen to me saying I let him go. I ended up paying a whole $4.98 for two small pieces of pizza. Overall...

I haven't been to this establishment in a very long time. Five of us, my husband, two teenagers and our 6 year old son. My son was not planning to eat but once we sat decided, in fact, he did want food but this worked out because we had paid for 4 but my daughter stated she wasn't hungry so we just let him take her place and she chose to sit out. The girl working the front obviously could see we had changed things by staring at us on the camera which is honestly quite creepy, and decided we were trying to get away with being dishonest. Next thing we know a young man walked over to our table to tell us we only paid for 4. It was an uncomfortable experience and the food was really not that great. Mostly everything they put out seemed fresh but the taste was very off. We had to ask for refills. The girl working the cash register came over to get our cups and had a very rude demeanor.
