So convenient! I’ve been excited for this place to open since it is right across the street from Acme Bakery’s original location. He already has a GREAT variety of fun, unique beverages and packaged items. I don’t drink, so a good beverage selection is really key for me. He’s still in soft opening and is waiting on permitting to fill in his space with fresh food, which means he is taking any and all suggestions from the community so he can make his spot a real destination. I can’t wait for his cheese to come in…I’ve been dreaming of grabbing a baguette from acme and some delicious Brie or goat cheese from green leaf. Great location! Being on the corner means that free street parking is easy, just avoid parking on San Pablo. Show this place some love so it can become the mainstay it...

Excited about having a grocery store in the neighborhood! Their shelves are full of most needed ingredients in any kitchen and household and even personal care items. But hey, a few bocks to North is Whole Foods full of healthy food choices, less than a mile to East is Monterey full of good veggies, approximately a mile away to South is Berkeley Bowl full of all good everything, then what is unique about Green Leaf market? Hmm, but within 0.5 mile radius, there's no nice casual neighborhood coffee shop where patrons/ neighborhood kids can stop by for a drink/ fresh sandwiches? Green Lead windows can offer nice seatings with street views... Or, the windows can showcase a bunch of vibrant colors of fresh produce... Come on, Green Leaf rocks!! Bring out your specialties! Green Leaf Market is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! From the moment you walk in, you can tell they prioritize quality—everything is fresh, well-stocked, and organized.
