This place is alot of fun, and provides a different experience and new chance for a night out with a puzzle solving experience. Here’s my review from yelp:
Strategize, execute, fail/succeed and move to the next level/game!
We need more Game On's! Incredibly unique and can't wait to go back with more people as a large group or event. Game On is interactive, sensory-rich, puzzle solving and constant communication. Often times, it feels like if you want a night out with a partner, or friends, the options can feel limited. Game On provides a completely different experience that may seem like an escape room, but you get to learn from your mistakes, figure out a plan, and complete the game to get to a new level. Each person can have a different role in the different mystery rooms too so even after you complete a room, you can switch roles with your group so it's still new and fresh (and can replay the different level tiers). As of now, five very unique games with many more in the works.
I went with my partner's teenage son and we had an absolute blast, and it's definitely for adults, or a mix of teenagers and up (I would say if you are with middle school age kids and up - keep the ratio to 1:1 adult to kid).
I really hope this place gets the love, attention, and support because it brings a new option for a date, hanging with friends, doing a family activity, and is fun and cerebral. Seeing more Game On's in the Bay, potentially unique to different cities of the bay, is something we need!

Read moreWe are so grateful to the team at Game On for providing a fun and memorable birthday! We brought a large group, which we worried might even be too large ... since packs of middle school boys can get feral. But the kids had a blast exploring and playing, and we had a blast hearing them laugh and walk around exclaiming "This is so awesome!" They willingly put their phones/devices into lockers and stayed engaged in the puzzle rooms, exploring the place for the full 2+ hours, and they all seemed delighted and lit-up the whole time. There was zero whining, zero "I'm bored," and lots of giggling and friendly competition.
The games are brain-teasing even for adults, so if you're reading this and thinking about having a party for kids, know that it's challenging and the rooms do take concentration and focus. I think all ages can have fun there and our group loved it, but it's definitely geared toward older teens and adults. They have beer on tap and a nice hang space, so it would be a fun date night and an AWESOME spot for a work mixer.
This place is truly something special - congratulations to the creative minds that brought this to life and thank you again for graciously hosting our rowdy gang! We will be back, though next time with a smaller and less...
Read moreI visited a few weeks back with some friends and didn't quite know what to expect. I was delightfully surprised by how much fun it was! I play a lot of videogames, have worked in VR and done a lot of VR experiences, and I enjoyed this considerably more than the VR experiences I've had. Instead of virtual immersion, it was actual immersion—solving puzzles with friends in-person.
The games were challenging but in a way that it really pushed our group to work together to communicate to solve the physical and mental puzzles. We'd try, fail, then figure out new solutions, feeling a tremendous amount of personal reward when we figured it out.
The folks that run Game On were really nice and I really appreciated how much they were excited about the games too. It was fun dorking out with them and talking about what the games reminded us of and the things that inspired them.
All in all, we had a blast and I'd definitely recommend this to any group of friends, family, or coworkers looking for a fun and...
