Cozy yet bright & spacious cafe with tasty pastries, light sandwiches, and delicious breakfast options. Really fresh, quality, and seasonal ingredients come together for some creative dishes and turn familiar menu items into a culinary experience. If you’re a fan of HighWire coffee, then this is your spot—and I can’t seem to get enough of the iced black chai latte. The sturdy and spacious tables, counter seating, and strong WiFi make Evergreen a great place to fuel up and get some work done, or just chill with a good book or journal. The cafe is run by a warm and friendly team who seem just as happy to make a connection and get to know you as they are to complete your order.

Their love of food, hospitality, and desire to bring people together is infused into every detail of the space. I couldn’t be more thrilled for the whole team—and for all of you who get to experience this gem of a corner in Berkeley. Excellent Service, and fun friendly staff. Owned by two local women, one's sister helps out too. Close to the best espresso shots/drinks in all of West&North Berkeley. Generally an all woman staff, Clay, the shop card, has moved on to ever greener pastures. I often run into people I know from about town, and the customers are willing to engage in friendly banter. Much the same menu as Bartavelle, with improvements to the items, like fresh tomatoes on the Avocado Toast, cheese on the ham sandwich, and Fresh Berries both on porridge and the Chia/Granola pudding.
