Berlin Farmer's Market — Local services in Berlin

I don’t like leaving poor review but I had to leave this review and I waited to speak with one of the owner said her name was Jen before leaving this review. Have spoken to one of the staff there and decided to check out the place and possible get a space because I have overstocked inventory, upon arrival I realized I did not have my ID, the gentleman who was helping ask if I does not have my license do I have any other ID, I told him yes, Immediately the man who sitting all the way to the back started screaming on the top of his lounge at me in front of everyone, asking how did I get there and to get out the line, he started interrogate me like a police officer, I pull to the side, I then told him politely I’m a customer don’t speak to me like that, his immediate respond was you have not paid anything as yet. I had my husband bring my ID, paid for two days it rain therefore I did not get to do anything, but after that treatment I decided I was not going to go back until I heard from the manager, After speaking to Jen she was sarcastic, she apologized but in the same token she try to justified his behavior, in other words she said it’s ok for him to treat the customers like that, she even double down like John and say if u feel like that maybe this is not a good fit, I was not planning on going back after that treatment, but she took no ownership, she was not sincere, loosing the money that have paid was not on issue, the issue is I don’t believe they cares about there vendors, all they care about is the money and that is very poor and bad for business. No one should be treated like that, if he cannot hear well maybe he need to be at another location or doing something where he does not need to shout, his behavior is a representation of the company and if u are dealing with someone upfront am sure they all should be train on how to deal with customer, the gentleman upfront could have told me, am aware of policy and procedure and abide by them and follow them, if I was a male he would never spoken to me like that, and if he cannot eat well how did he stay all the way in the back and heard...

It's definitely a one-of-a-kind they have some throwback stores that are pretty cool and what's nice about it is they have a Santa and Easter bunny those times of the year for children and the parents can take their pictures very nice and the setting for that attraction is decorative and Tastefully done and free! They've added some new stores since I've been there in the last few years I went to the vegetable and fruit store and they make delicious smoothies and there are only 1$ well worth it the candy store some of it is okay some of it's delicious I thought the generic chocolate-covered pretzels were stale now they make their own peanut butter and it's fabulous and some of the old style candy is there where you cannot find anywhere else. I also like another store the name of its Danny Mertz not very clean or fancy but you can find cheap items there and decorations for holidays if you don't have much money that's the place to go. There's also a clam bar at the end of the market always like to enjoy a visit there gotten a little pricey but was always busy&foods good, Other than that they have a lot of new stores that I'd like to check out but it's a farm market so it's not fancy or all that clean so if you were looking for the place to be spotless&tidy keep in mind it is a farm market. Overall I enjoy going there every now and then to enjoy the type place you don't come across all the time also remember it's not a department store keep valuables close&buttoned. THE BERLIN AUCTION HAS BEEN A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP SINCE I WAS LITTLE. THE BERLIN AUCTION IS MANY TIMES NOT GIVEN CREDIT FIR A VERY IMPORTANT FACTOR AND THAT IS IT A VERY SAFE PLACE TO SHOP INSIDE AND OUTSIDE . SHOP OWNERS LIKE TOM OF DANNY MERTZ AND HIS,WORKERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP YOU FIND ANYTHING AND YOU CAN FIND STUFF IN HERE THAT YOU COULD NOT FIND IN OTHER STORES. WHEN YOU WALK AROUND THE SMELL OF POPCORN, SOFT PRETZELS AND COOKIES AND FRESH CANDY BEING MADE JUST REALLY MAKES IT A GREAT A VISIT. LOOKING FOR OLD MUSIC CDS OR INFORMATION ON RECORDING ARIST YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND ANY MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN HOWARD AND MEN'S MUSIC STORE. WHEN SPRING AND SUMMER GETS HERE THE OUTDOOR PART OF THE AUCTION ALLOWS YOU TO COME ACCROSS ITEMS YOU HAD GROWING UP BUT MAYBE LOST AND ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR ABLE TO ACQUIRE THAT ITEM AGAIN AND BOY DO YOU FEEL GOOD FOR THE WHOLE DAY. AND IVE DONE A VEGETABLE GARDEN IN MY BACK YARD FOR 20 YEARS NOW AND IVE ALWAYS BOUGHT MY VEGETABLE PLANTS AT GREAT LOW PRICES AT ONE LARGE STAND OUTSIDE THERE AND ITS WONDERFUL. THE BERLIN AUCTION IS JUST A WONDERFUL PLACE TO SPEND A DAY OR NIGHT WITH PLENTY OF SAFE PARKING. IM GLAD THIS PLACE IS STILL AROUND TO GIVE ME GREAT MEMORIES OF SHOPPING THERE WITH MY MOM WHO USED TO LOVE GOING IN ALL THE STORES AND THE BOOTHS OUTSIDE DURING THE SUMMER.
