Habegger Furniture — Local services in Berne

My experience at the store was okay. I spent way more money than I had intended to. The couch and one chair that I bought is okay, but I am highly dissapointed in the power recliner and the area rug that I bought. I've had the furniture just over one year. The rug looks like it's at least 5 years old. It has not worn well. And the power recliner is totally uncomfortable. It is not soft like I would have expected a recliner to be. I am 76 years old, so spend a lot of time in it. The arm rests are hard and hurt my elbows when I rest my arms on them. Definitely not made for comfort. Also the foot rest is so hard that it hurts my heels. I wish that I had not spent $8,000 on what I thought was quality furniture and had just gotten more comfortable furniture like a Lazyboy recliner. Also, after the sale, there was NO follow-up contact from the store to see how satisfied I was. Apparently they think that just because their products are expensive, we should be happy with our purchase. I won't be going to their "high class"...

Best furniture experience ever for us. The staff was friendly and very capable. Amanda was amazing with her design expertise and support. She was easy to work with and made the perfect suggestions. She knows her product lines and integrated our needs within those wide boundaries. Amanda was generous with her time. She made a trip to our home to confirm final selections. We could not be more pleased with our selections of colors, patterns, and textures. The quality of the furniture is better than anything we saw in Indy. Prices are competitive. Delivery was on time. The delivery men were extremely careful of our home and new furniture. We were impressed with the quality of the delivery service. The men were super pleasant and helpful. We LOVED working with Habegger Furniture through the process of buying our new couch! We spent many weekends looking at furniture in multiple cities, then made our way to Berne. At Habegger, we found an amazing selection, including a couch we had liked at an another store for a slightly lower cost. This is the couch we ended up purchasing.

More importantly, we never felt pressured to buy or make a decision and the amazing employees (shoutout to Jim and Alex!) answered all of our many questions. We were kept up-to-date on the status of production for our couch and it was delivered the day after it was completed. Delivery was painless, and the delivery folks were nice and very respectful of our home.
