Berwyn Shops: A Homegrown Project — Local services in Berwyn

So Quaint! I’ve waited such a long time for opening day! These little shops remind me of the ones I fell in love with in Michigan, specifically in Saugatuck & Glen Arbor.

Today I visited with my teen daughter but we are planning a girls’ day of dining out and shopping with my sister & sister-in-laws. We can’t wait!

We visited every shop but our favorites were definitely the skin care shop, Mexican clothing & accessories boutique & the homemade sweets shop! But there’s something for everyone from books in English and Spanish for your little ones, to plants, to flowers and mugs, to jewelry, makeup, body butters, massage oils & more!!!

Very cute small business, and I'm loving the concept. My favorites are POCHA PETS, LOS AMIGOS BOOKS, & RITUAL THEORY. All exceptionally lovely people and fabulous products. Avoid K SHULADA (artisan latin gifts) she was the rudest and most passive aggressive condescending woman I've ever had to displeasure of experiencing. She kept following me and my friend around thinking that we were going to steal but had no problem being EXTRA friendly to those of a lighter complexion...

This is a lovely concept but please don’t waste your time. The shop owners seem to lack basic customer service, like greeting you when you enter or not allowing their hostile dogs to snap at my small children. The bilingual bookstore folks were especially rude and borderline...
