Bethany Beach Comics and Gaming — Local services in Bethany Beach

First off they are no longer in Bethany they are in Fenwick. Drove here first and had to call the guy it’s like a 15-20 mins drive near harpoon hannahs if you keep going down that road. The gentleman at the store was very nice I must say it wasn’t the owner, but he was able to help me find what I was looking for. Got a couple packs of over priced prismatic evolution which I get it prismatic down here may be hard to find so that’s okay. (You can find them everywhere in northern Delaware for half as much) but when I went to pay I noticed this sign and just thought it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen, they add a four percent charge to EVERY purchase! Doesn’t matter if you pay with cash, card, big purchase small purchase. So crazy! So the things here are already over priced with an extra 4 percent charge on every purchase just be aware. I felt like this and the fact I had to find the place on my own is just hands down ridiculous. (In response to owners comment) and this is how the owner handles criticism. Lies and tells nonsense. It’s 2025 customer is never right anymore lol good luck to your business, your in a terrible location now and if that’s where way you treat customers your going to sink yourself. Spent a day in Bethany beach and came across this store while circling around for parking. My son spotted it so he was excited to check it out. As soon as you walk in, they have grab-n-go bags priced at $20 per bag which contains adult comic books or comics for kids. They have a pretty large variety of comic books for kids, Funko Pop collectibles, trading cards and other figurines. As for the comics, I didn’t get to check much of it but I did like what I saw while I walked through the store.

Shout out to the young lady who worked there on 07/28. She greeted us when we first walked into the store, and she returned a few minutes later to ask if we needed assistance. She showed my son the Pokémon section and helped him find the trading cards he was in search of. In doing so, she made his day :) thank you for delivering great...

Half of the store's title is accurate. They have lots of comics at a very reasonable price. From hardcover collections, to bagged and boarded single issues, they have a LOT to pick from! They also have lots of collectibles like Funko figures, action figures, and statues. The "Gaming" part of the store's name is severely lacking, however. They have mostly "gateway games" like Fluxx, Munchkin, and lots of D&D books. The staff are super friendly and willing to help with any questions you have.
