The staff was friendly and I enjoyed their personalities. But reflecting back on the entire experience, I feel like we got scammed like we were at a used car dealership. They were smooth talkers and had wonderful customer service skills when it came to making the customer feel like you're getting a great deal. We were originally told "$160 or less" per month in actuality it is costing $230 per month. They didn't elaborate and say it's per phone. Trying to figure out the actual cost of the "perks" was just a circular conversation. I was never actually told how much per month my phone payment would be. I also was told because my spouse and I are paramedics/first responders we get a discount and my activation fee waived. I really feel like things were glossed over and made it be a better deal than it actually ever was going to be. You think you ask the right questions only to realize there were 10 more you should've asked. I wish I could've stuck with Mint Mobile because their customer service is upfront and honest. I really did like the staff though. They were friendly, funny, and just entertaining to be around. I just feel like I got the typical Verizon roundabout service. I had the same issue with AT&T. I’m not one to upgrade annually or keep up with the new models, but Travis was awesome and ensured I wound up with a similar iPhone to my last one. We had to order it, and I came back a few days later to pick it up. Travis was patiently helping an older gentleman set up his new Android EXACTLY to the man’s specifications. We’re talking moving apps around, making sure his accessibility settings were set up correctly, setting up Bixby. I was there for 45 minutes waiting for my iPhone to transfer (thanks Jacob!) and when I left, Travis was still patiently helping the older gentleman instead of telling him “go home and Google it.” While my experience was quick and painless, I was more impressed with how they helped someone who was clearly frazzled that their routine was ruined and helped them regain some semblance of normalcy in an otherwise...
Read moreAfter having terrible different experiences at Verizon stores, I decided to Google the best Verizon experience in Michigan. It came up with Dave in Mio Michigan. Although his store was over four hours away, I decided to make the trip. All I can say is we were not disappointed. What an outstanding guy. He took the time to show me what I was missing out on and also showed me things that did not need no longer. We ended up purchasing two phones and having a great conversation. Other stores should definitely take notice. If there is a Verizon GOAT it’s Definitely David T.
