Mio Saloon — Restaurant in Big Creek Township

My wife and I have been going there for eight or 10 years. Usually 2 times a month. We really enjoy ed their fish on Friday and Patty melts .We’ve noticed a varying degree of service. Sometimes it’s busy and you get your food within 15 minutes sometimes with no one in there and it takes a half an hour or more? I think it all depends on who your servers are ,some good and one definitely has A different attitude. Last time there we ordered right away when we came in and after about 40 minutes I started to notice others who came in after us that were already eating (I should’ve responded sooner). A different server came up and asked if we had ordered yet and we told her yes about 45 minutes ago. but that time my wife and I figure where are we gonna go after waiting this long ,so she took our order and it was about 15 minutes till she came back with it ,but Didn’t offered any apologies. Great food! I orderedvthr Reubens, it was delicious. We had a group of 11 women and had 6 at one table. 5 at another. This place would have gotten a higher rating if it hadn't been for our server. She acted annoyed when we asked to sit out side where there was more room for us ladies. Forgot to bring jalepeno poppers out and never got a side salad that was ordered. After food was all delivered we didn't see her again until we had to flag her down for our bills. She would not separate the bills at all, and we were charged a high gratuity. First trip up north to Mio for bow hunting with some friends who have gone there for decades. Great place! Bar service was fast and helpful, food was great, bartenders Jodie and Ashley were a lot of fun while seriously handling their business like pros. Prices were very reasonable. I went from being the “F*ing New Guy” to one of the gang by day two. Quite a cast of characters working both front and back of house, and they all really took great care of their guests and took pride in keeping a clean and fun saloon. 5/5 will be back next year if...
