Went on Saturday to get a cake ordered for July 1st. First the lady didn’t seem like she wanted to be there but I was still kind and did the order. Went in yesterday, July 1st at the time my paper said to pick up my cake. Got there and they hadn’t even started it due to the paper being misplaced and it was forgot about. Came back an hour later as told and picked it up, my receipt showed I paid $21.98 the sticker placed on the cake was 14.98$. I went to go ask the ladies in bakery and all they did was rip the sticker off and had me a back the cake with no sticker just a cake in a box and said “we put the wrong sticker”. Handed it back to me and walked away, so then why not put the correct sticker? The cake also was not even remotely close to what I ordered or even close to the details on the order paper that they look at to do the cakes. They also took that paper from me the first time and still did not do my cake correctly. The experience overall was just unpleasant. The employees in bakery did not apologize not Once and also did everything in their power to cover and make excuses for their mistake while also making me feel I was the problem when all I did was a place an order days prior and then pick up the cake as instructed on my receipt. I was not rude nor did I even complain about the entire cake being forgotten and not even done correctly. I’ll stick to going elsewhere, I love HEB and this is the first store I’ve gone to that was so crap. If you don’t like your jobs then I’m sorry but that is not the customers fault.. stop treating them like it is. Having that whole disappointing interaction on my birthday was absolutely disheartening and just uncalled for. Will just stick to my HEBs in midland and Odessa will never shop at this specific...
Read moreI witnessed what looked like a deli employee standing on the case holding food product with her shoes right over the food. This posed to be an issue for many reasons mainly a safety issue for the employee and concern about her shoes coming into contact with food even if it is the outside of the packaging. Then as I am trying to do my shopping a employee was impatient, act like I was in his way and did not say excuse me. Mind you I have an injured knee with an obvious knee brace on as I'm limping. Lastly, Cashier had a cocky, rude attitude. I handed Mathew my coupons he lays them all out & says good luck! Like wow! As every coupons doesn't go for whatever reason he is not knowledgeable and arguing with me about them stating it had to be exact product (flavor) in the picture on couple despite the coupons reading select varieties. To which he ended up being wrong with all of them. Managment overrode one cause it just wouldn't go through despite right product! I had gotten the wrong product for one of the coupons to which I said I'll have to go get the right one? He says yeah if you want it. Well that's why I got it. I bought the items in order to get this item for free as the coupon reads. Yes I want it. Lucky my husband was with me to do the go getting of right product because I couldn't have. Read moreI love H-E-B, but this is probably the worst one I’ve been to. The lines are ridiculous, they need more lanes/cashiers. But, the worst part, being called a liar by the customer service girl when returning the shampoo machine. I cleaned it, very well, but when we got it, it was dirty at the bottom so we took pics, before pulling out of the parking lot. We only used it to shampoo the small amount of carpet in our 5th wheel. Returned it this evening, and she tried charging me the $20 cleaning fee because the bottom was dirty. I showed her the pictures, and she said it wasn’t like that when she flipped it over & looked before giving it to us. She NEVER looked under that shampoo machine. She took it out, and rolled it out the door to my husband. The manager wouldn’t even look at my pictures. So, I told them to charge me the $20, and I’ll be in touch with Corp. then, the manger said, no, we will take care of it this time. This time?! There won’t be a next time! I will not pay for some else’s mistakes!!! I’m a clean person, and that machine was spotless, and $20 isn’t much, but it should’ve been charged to the person who used it before me!
