Wagon Wheel Drive In — Restaurant in Big Spring

The customer service response here is horrible. I was the first of 8 to 10 cars that had their order taken. Waited 40 minutes for a couple patties and fries. They did not provide utensils and when asked about getting a fork, they said they did not have anything for me to eat it with. The meat it was as cold as the lettuce. To top it off, they said they could not give me my money back so now I'm out $12 and change. I have to see if they could give me something that says that I can go back and get a sandwich some other day, the young lady at the register, KD, told me it was not fair that the other customers were having to wait on me and that I would have to wait to get this piece of paper. I waited an additional 20 minutes putting my time at this establishment at this establishment at about an hour. They claim to have called the owner but that they weren't answering. What a shame, I was hoping for a quality experience. Instead I got a mean spirited young lady who put the needs of herself over customer that needed to eat so not to pass out. Hopefully the owner see this and can contact me because this was a terrible experience. The older gentleman in the back, said that they could always call the police on me. What a horrible...

The food is great. Definitely good. But

The set up is just clumsy. The poor carhops have to run back and forth so much I'm not sure how they keep staff here. It took 6 trips for our order. We had to call and ask how to even order. They should post a menu. One you can see. The carhop came to us after we called to see how to order but she walked out to us without a menu. Clearly we didn't know what they had. Trip 2 we get the menu. Trip three they take the order. Trip 4 they bring out the shake but do not take our money. Trip 5 out food and an exchange of money but luckily we have the balance as a tip so she wasn't making another trip to get our change since they do not carry money for change. Suggest posting menus outside. Suggest people get out to order food and take a number to display on dash or for the establishment to call the number for pickup. Ordered well done and both burgers were medium in the middle. The patty was very thin in some areas and very thick in others. Makes it hard to cook them consistently because of this. We just don’t eat raw burgers and prefer well done as we requested. Fries were not cooked completely so we had to squeeze them with paper towel beforehand. Could happen I suppose if they were slammed busy. But it was a little after 3 pm on a Tuesday they weren’t busy. I’ll say that the tea was good and fresh tasting. Last but certainly not least is $29 for two single patty combos with the drink. AND, you pay additional fees for paying with card. Everything has gone up everywhere but they have priced themselves out of the market imho. Meal, with fees and reasonable tip to the nice young lady would cost you around $38 for...
