Blaine Center — Local services in Blaine

This is a sad, sad center and I avoid it as much as I can. There are mostly empty stores up for lease. There is a Cost Cutter that has marked up prices on most things. The only saving graces for me are a good Dollar Store, Subway Sandwich, Little Caesars Pizza and a UPS Shipping joint. The parking lot is huge but has more potholes and hazards then an Iraqi war zone. And don't get me started on their lighting. It is barely lit and is scary to be in it alone. This center has not been kept up at all and should probably be torn down and replaced with something the local residents as well as our Canadian visitors would use. We don't have much shopping in Blaine so this size lot could be a money maker. Unfortunately, the way this shopping center is, I suggest you avoid it except for emergency...

Convenient grocery store costcutter. Lots of good prices on dried fruit and nuts Deli was pleasant with some high-end cured meat items such as prosciutto, mortadella, Copa several other high-end Italian products at a good price. The rest of the store is a normal grocery store like any other they do have some good sales and quite a bit of tourists from the Canadian border. Also use my lots of locals overall I'd say it's a nice store the plaza needs some work it's a little run-down that there is a dollar store, where I was able to find a very hard to find mouthguard at a very good price. I always enjoy going into Cost Cutter here, as they keep a very clean store, and have a great variety of items needed for home and when one is on vacation. I enjoy their produce, diary and their deli chicken. Always friendly people working as well.

I was raised around the grocery store world when I was younger, as my father was a Safeway store revitalizing manager. He would be brought in to low accomplishing stores to help clean them up to be profitable again. That's why I am critical of amnh stores, but this one that has it down right.
