I have been a loyal customer since 2002 and have been consistently impressed with the professionalism and efficiency with which this business is run.
The other day I found i had just missed the Fedex pickup and the owner told me to run to Bellingham right away and I would catch them. He didn't have to tell me that. He lost out on his commission just to help a customer. He also told me to leave the packages I came to pick up in order to catch the truck and just be back by 6.
Of course I was too late.
I stopped for gas and then tried for too long to get my tablet to play some podcasts until I saw that it was 5 to 6. I hadn't realized the time at all .I was sure I would have to stay overnight nearby to get my packages the next day.
When I got there, I called my husband to see if he had been successful at reaching anyone to request that my packages be left at the late night access box. Just as I was swearing a blue streak into the phone while pacing around out front of MBI, the owner appeared. He had been on his way to the grocery store, saw me and actually stopped to go back...even though I was being all crazy pants. I might not have wanted to deal with me if I were him ; ). Of course I stopped swearing the minute I saw him though and was very relieved.

She was rude and made faces at me a couple times. It was my first time using parcel receiving service today and definitely won't be back here.
My rating is based solely on the interaction I received today and got nothing to do with me misunderstanding the fees when I shipped my stuff here.
You have to pay $15 annual membership fees and $3.50 per package on top of that. So I ended up paying $7 for my package because I didn't want a membership. That was entirely my bad and I understand why I was charged higher for it, I wish I didn't have to but I wasn't mad about that. Next time I'd go to Ship49, which is only $3, no other fees. (Which I also went for the first time today and received such friendly service)

Read moreI've been with her for almost 2 years and it worked well for me in the beginning and then I realized that I really have to work around her schedule in order to use this service.
She is only open on Monday-Saturday and only 4 hours on Saturday (10-2). Any person who works a normal 9-5 (monday-friday) will only have the opportunity to get their packages on Saturday.
Historically they have never lost any of my packages but it isnt common to walk in their store and find someone whose waiting there for hours because their packages have been lost or "misplaced"!
Another person had their package "lost" because the lady gave their package to another customer. That customer had to go to the other customers home to pick up their package. Service is really bad.
Instead i found another service called 24/7 Parcel that is open all day all night 365 days a year. No annual fees and still the same $3/per package.
