Our experience with Bay View Flooring started over a year ago. Our salesman Patrick helped us choose the right flooring for our new home. The hardwoods we chose were perfect, and complimented our home's interior design features. Unfortunately, our builder elected to use his own installers in an effort to save money. Because of the squeaks and bounce associated with the entire main floor, Bay View did an in-depth investigation. Our builder's installers we not experienced enough and used the wrong fasteners to secure the floors. The hardwoods needed to be removed.

Our salesman Patrick Siler went above and beyond in order to coordinate the removal and proper installation (by Bay View) of our flooring. With the support of the owner at Bay View, Tim Hyland, he coordinated with our builder to have the old floors removed. They organized a team to be led by Randy Merchant, who would establish a plan to conduct the work with the least amount of disruption to our family. The team of professionals: Kevin, James, Paul, and Chris that conducted the work were absolutely fantastic. Their work site (attached photos) was left neat and clean a night, and the final result was beyond impressive. For the last six month every step we took was a reminder of how cutting corners has an adverse result. My family and I are now very proud of our floors, and are no longer embarrassed to have guests over. Our new floors that were installed today are simply amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of bay view flooring! we needed new luxury vinyl plank flooring for our cottage on lower Herring Lake. We didn’t know anything about this type of flooring, spoke to three or four different flooring stores, including one locally but none of them seem to be as knowledgeable as what we found at Bayview. We worked with Karen who knew absolutely everything about flooring, all the important details that we needed to understand. She is a flooring expert and was very helpful! When we had the flooring installed, we had two gentlemen, Paul and Luke. These guys were absolutely amazing. We found them to be highly skilled at what they were doing , attention to even small details and were enable to cut perfectly all sorts of small turns in corners in our walls. Have no idea how they were able to make the flooring fit so perfectly! We even had an access door in the floor that they needed to put the plank flooring into the cover. They made the lines continuous between the cover and planks on the floor ( hoping this shows up in the photo) You can purchase good quality floor, but you need expert installers to be make it look good. And not only were Paul and Luke good at what they’re doing. They were very nice personable, friendly accommodating just great guys to have in your house!! ( I think the owner needs to give them a raise or a bonus for all their great work ! )And we considered the price that we put in for the flooring quite reasonable. We were fortunate to work with Whitney in selecting our flooring products. She took the time to understand our needs for flooring. She explained the differences between flooring types which allowed us to make an informed decision in selecting the flooring types that best suited our needs. Having both Kevin and James install the flooring made what had been already a good situation even better. They definitely know their jobs well. They made quick work of removing the old flooring and preparing for installation. They made sure that we were happy with everything through the entire process. If you are reading this review and are in need of flooring, these three individuals will exceed your expectations.

June 16, 2021 After sometime enjoying the flooring we purchased from Bay View 2 years ago, we decided to finish off the remainder of the house. This time Gary assisted us in the selection of our flooring. James and Kevin were available to complete the installation as before. Again the entire process was great. Gary and Randy handled everything instore and with scheduling delivery. No issues there. Our friends, James and Kevin completed the installation efficiently, timely and professionally.
