KFC — Restaurant in Garfield Township

I have been going to this location for years. I typically go at least twice a month if not more, which will be changing. This KFC has been going downhill for a couple months now. I have been able to overlook some of the issues, but today's experience takes the cake. Today, i pulled up to the drive through and was told to wait to place my order (typical here). I made my order (#7 big box) and was told that the sides i wanted were out (mac n cheese and fries). So i chose to get mashed potatoes and coleslaw instead. Pull up to the window and waited, and waited, and waited before finally being told that they are also out of the chicken i wanted and needed to substitute. After being tired of waiting i told them thats fine. Finally got back to my company to eat and realized that the mashed potatoes was just a container of gravy, and the coleslaw was all juices. What the heck!? I feel i am owed some money back. Definitely not worth the $17 i spent on this "food". This KFC needs to get some staff that knows what they are doing and can do it in a timely manner. It sucks having to wait in line 10+ minutes after paying for food, only to not actually get the food you went there for in the first place. Numerous cars always pull away, i should have too maybe. Abysmal experience at this KFC. Although the lady who took our order was very pleasant to us it felt like everything else was meant to fall apart. Was told that if I ordered regular chicken there would be a 15 minute wait vs the 7 minute wait for tenders so we ordered tenders. We then proceeded to wait for 38 minutes before we received our food. I had to go inside after waiting in the special spot they had me move to. Car after car went past me while out there. When inside they told me the tenders had just came out so it'd be right up for me. I still waited almost 15 minutes inside while I saw other drive thru orders go out. Even the other customers waiting for their messed up orders commented on how something really screwy was going on. After spending $40 on food we weren't once offered a chance to just take a refund and go but instead kept getting told "That it would be right out". I've worked fast food and I'm well aware of how fryers work. Once the food is out of the oil it doesn't take an additional 15 minutes to serve the food. You had just decided to arbitrarily ignore certain of us while continuing helping everyone else....

Went all day Christmas shopping with family on empty stomachs. After shopping was done, me and family were SUPER HANGRY (for those who don't know, hangry means starving to the point you are angry). So we stopped here, being every other fast food restaurant was closed early due to understaffing or what have you, not realizing that they were closing in 20 minutes. The lady who ran drive thru was super awesome and helped us out considering they only had limited items. She managed to give us what they could to accomodate what we wanted. We were super happy and very grateful to have good food and a full belly. I wish I got her name, but she and the rest of the staff deserve acknowledgement for their hard work, while providing hospitalitity, care, compassion and respect to us. We will be back again someday and until then, thank you, keep up the awesome, good work you all do, but most importantly, hang in there and keep your head up.
