This is a lovely little ballpark in Traverse City. The prices for parking, tickets, food and souvenirs are very reasonable. They offer a fun field experience at every inning break. The park is extremely clean and well maintained. There are plenty of restrooms and there is a wide variety of comfortable seats ranging from sitting on the grass in the outfield to comfortable stadium seating to patio tables and even suites. The food is yummy. Our friends had a hot dog and a brat and the people in front had pretzels and chicken fingers. Everyone loved their food. I enjoyed a tasty waffle cone with a generous scoop of hand dipped ice cream. Delicious! And let's not forget the game! Although the home team was down early on, they never gave up. Read moreKind of Biased here but I love this place. Its like my second home. The staff is amazing and friendly, the food is affordable and great tasting, and the competition is competitive. The Pit Spitters are an amazing organization to support, visit, and work for.
Not only is the baseball great, the special events are unique and fun. One of the highlights of my life is getting to see the international fireworks festival. It was unreal, like something you would only see in the movies. The Great Lakes Strongman Competition is a blast, the Mac and Cheese Festival was unique, and all the high school baseball games held here are a great asset to the community.
Overall a great venue, team, and...

This year for the international fireworks show the handicapped parking was so far away from the entrance it was ridiculous. The was absolutely no reason that the front parking for the stadium was full and handicapped people had to walk about 1/4 of a mile while all of the front handicapped parking was filled with police cars. Very disappointed. If they planned this, someone should have set up some kind of shuttle service. For the prices people are paying for seats $70 to $250 they could afford to be...
