Wolfden Brewing Company — Local services in Bloomingdale

The place has a cool back Yard with a nice upper deck, fire pit and a unisex bathroom in the small shed. They also have live entertainment on certain days. I was there on a Friday and they had a guy playing solo in the back yard. Most of their staff, is very friendly and accommodating. But there's one guy that had a little bad of an attitude. I asked to taste three different beers and he said no, I'm wasting too many plastic cups. He only let me try two. So when another employee came around, I mentioned what the other coworker said, he apologized and bought me the other sample. I thought that the deck also needs more umbrellas to protect people form the bright sun. It just gets too hot outside in the afternoon. The beers are very good, I specifically liked the "All Together IPA" the best. But the "Galactic Fog NEIPA" was a very close second for me. I really want to thank the staff that came up to my table and apologized for their coworkers lack of patience and lack of customer's skills. It really made a big difference in my personal experience and opinion about the establishment. I can't wait to go back, try the rest of their beers and check out the interior. Went here last night with my wife, a friend and our kids. Have been in the past. Decent beer but nothing to write home about. Advertises as a kid and pet friendly establishment. Sit all the way in the back by the open portion of the yard so the kids could play. About an hour into our visit one of the workers comes out and tells us to keep our kids by the table because they are receiving complaints and walks away. I’m the first to reprimand my children if they are acting out of line. Place was half filled and kids weren’t even screaming, just being kids playing outside. Left a horrible taste in my mouth about this place so went and closed my tab out. Told the other 3 families who were in their way to meet us to go somewhere else. Expressed my frustration to the employee with the manner it was handled and was told “I’m just doing my job, it’s a bar”. How about explaining to the old grumpy person who I found to be the one that complained that you market this as a family establishment. Will never being going back and will ensure the entire Bloomingdale and surrounding community this is their stance. Such a shame for a place that obviously struggles...

Worst place I've been to. Very rude from the start. I sat down no one came to service me you have to go to the bar and order Very expensive horrible service now u have to take your own drink to your table go to the bar every time you want a drink horrible can't relax. Order food at 9:05pm Bartender said they close the kitchen early today cause they felt like it the menu says kitchen stays open Friday till 10pm. I get a little upset the cook comes out and wants to fight me. Not making this up. Close out my tab left cause I didn't want them to say I didn't pay. Don't go there big waste of time horrible restaurant not worth the money or food service is disgusting wouldn't want to even take my 2 dogs there. Owner just wrote feels entitled to lie there was absolutely nothing mentioning that you were closing the kitchen early and your staff had multiple chances to tell me the kitchen is closing early don't lie feel entitled to do whatever you guys want horrible service and writing that comment is even worst shows want kind of establishment you are.
