I have been telling whoever will listen, to book catering with Wade and ABC! Planning: We booked for our June wedding, and Wade was extremely communicative, friendly, and his process is stress-free. Wade says his motto is "don't stress the bride" and he surely lives by that. We had multiple tastings to try and figure out which menu was perfect for our wedding. Wade made time for us and worked around our schedules for the tastings and reassured us that they could really do any menu that we wanted. Our venue required compostable/disposable plates/cutlery and Wade was able to accommodate this easily. Closer to the date, communicating the final head count and last-minute details was a seamless process. Day-of/food: We got SO MANY compliments on our food! We went with meatballs and caprese skewers for appetizers; and lasagna (meat and vegetarian) with summer salad and garlic bread for entrees. They were extremely accommodating to those of our guests with gluten-free needs and we got compliments on the GF option as well, which I understand is not always the case. Staff/Crew: The staff working the event were so nice, so professional, and so kind. Wade couldn't be at the wedding but sent me a text a couple days after wishing us congratulations and checking in to make sure everything was good- that is above and beyond! Affordable Best Catering completely exceeded my expectations, can I give more than 5 star?! We had a super small budget (like $450 small for about 150 guests), and to be honest, I was completely expecting them to say that we didn't meet a minimum. To my surprise, Wade was absolutely accommodating and said that he can make any budget work. After talking about our options, we did brats, baked beans, chips, pasta salad, and brownies for $450. He showed up exactly at the time he said, and came to pick up the items when he said he would too. In this kind of business, I've grown to expect that things don't go the way they're supposed to, and so when Wade was completely transparent from beginning to end, and actually did EVERYTHING he said he would, I was overjoyed!!

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Wade and his team to cater ANY event. Seriously, if I have anything that needs catering, I will be calling Wade and not even bother with anyone else. If anyone I know even mentions that they're having an event that might need catering, I will be passing along his information. I was asked to coordinate a Funeral Luncheon for a very dear friend of mine who had passed away. The family had originally planned to use Byerly's to cater in sandwiches, salads, etc.

I really wanted to have comfort food for the occasion, because the weather was cold and rainy, and there were many guests who were coming from out of town.

I contacted Wade (just selected him off the Internet) and from the start, he was so kind and thoughtful with respect to his heartfelt sympathies and his understanding of the need to make this occasion "special."

We worked on a menu that was absolutely delicious (roast beef/gravy/mashed potatoes/green beans/fruit/dessert bars, etc.). Everything was served hot, and his staff was so efficient. Wade was there the entire time, and he absolutely exceeded my expectations from start to finish, including packing up the leftovers for the family to take home. Plus, the cost was far less than what the family had planned to pay for the previously mentioned provider.

Going forward, Affordable Best Catering with be my choice for ANY of my catering needs. They...
