Gyropolis in Bloomington is a hidden gem of a restaurant that packs a punch in flavor and friendliness. Nestled in a cozy space, we arrived just before the dinner rush, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I opted for the veggie gyro, which turned out to be a superb choice. The accompanying side of fries, drizzled with their delectable $1 hot sauce(pricey for a side of sauce imo), was a delightful surprise. The hummus was perfectly textured, a creamy delight to complement the meal. Don't skip the fries, and if you're feeling adventurous, the spicy flavored ones are a must-try. What truly sets Gyropolis apart is the warm and welcoming staff. I appreciated their attentiveness, particularly when I requested a glove change due to my vegetarian preference – they happily obliged. Clean restrooms and ample parking add to the overall convenience, although the popularity of this spot means parking can fill up quickly. One suggestion for improvement would be to use tongs when assembling salads and fillings. This would prevent any cross-contamination with meat and ensure a worry-free experience for vegetarian patrons. In sum, Gyropolis deserves a solid 5-star rating. Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say it's a Twin Cities favorite that I'll continue to frequent. The fantastic food and hospitable atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

This quaint little restaurant is not to be missed. I have been trying to get here for months after seeing them on TV. Today I had the spicy pork gyro and it was awesome. The pork was sliced and stacked in the traditional shawarma method. The pork was tender and perfectly carmalized. The spicy tatziki sauce was hot enough to remind me I was alive but not too hot that I needed ice water. All of the ingredients were fresh and you could really tell that the family runs this place with a passion for food that left me wanting more. I live 30 minutes away and I'll be back as soon as I can. Well, came back the next day. 24 miles from home and still worth it. I had the pork gyropolis. It was great. Fresh pita, fresh red tomato, overall a great buy. $7.45 for a gyro and today a pork gyro came with a free meal upgrade. The seasoned fries are tasty and not spicy.

The parking lot is a disaster right now for remodeling. outside of that, this was a pleasant experience. Although packed, things moved fast with great customer service and friendly staff waiting to take your order. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. it was one of the better gyro’s i’ve had and everything tasted fresh. I got the philly with the chipotle sauce and it was spot on. The fries were fresh out and done. It was busy during lunch time when we went. A little bit of a line but they staff moved you along fast. Overall, an amazing experience which I would expect to only get better once the place expands and the parking lot is normal. Highly Recommended.

If you don’t like flavor, this is the place for you. Greek cuisine is renowned for its fresh, bold flavors—think olive oil, feta, and fragrant herbs like oregano, rosemary, and mint. Unfortunately, none of those quintessential elements are present here. We tried the gyro wrap, gyro platter, and hummus, and everything was bland and uninspired. For truly flavorful Greek food, I recommend heading to Falafel King (about 2 miles away) or Kebab in Eden Prairie instead. Also, they don’t have grape leaves, which are one of my favorites. That said, the atmosphere is nice, with plenty of low and high-top tables and ample parking.

They offer a variety of gyro meats, including traditional, pork, and chicken as well as veggie options. Gyros come in several styles, all of which are absolutely delicious! My go-to is the traditional 'Gyropolis' with spicy tzatziki, but honestly, everything on the menu—platters, sides, and desserts—are fantastic. The recently renovated space now offers significantly more seating, parking, and even a patio, making it an even better spot to enjoy a meal - they also have a drive-thru for pick-up orders. I don’t think there’s a better Greek spot around, worth going well out of your way for - highly recommended!
