My friend lives right across the street from this place & so does my boyfriends mother. It hands down the best gyros I've ever had. I really enjoy there Philly cheese steak gyro with Chipotle sauce, They do offer cucumber sauce which is excellent as well. I have order the gyroworks as well & that is also delicious. They also make the food fresh right in front of you so you can see what there putting on the gyro. I haven't gotten much else there but I have seen some really good garlic potatoes at there front counter that looks great & sweets as well, Always wanted to try them but the gyro always gets me first. They do have pizzas there but I haven't tried any of those yet & I believe they have a family pizza deal to for around $40 & they offer Pepsi products for drinks. The establishment is most likely family owned. It's hit or miss with there customer service, Some days there really nice & accommodating & other days they just don't talk much or really respond. It maybe because some of there employees speak Greek & not much English I notice. Other then that I would highly recommend this place if your in the area. The hours of business are a little janky though, They open at 11am Monday threw Friday & close at 8pm, but on the weekends they open at 11am on Saturday & close at 3pm & they are not open Sundays Which can be really inconvenient if you work a job from 8am to 5pm Monday threw Saturday. It might be a little pricey but it's definitely...

Gyropolis in Bloomington is a hidden gem of a restaurant that packs a punch in flavor and friendliness. Nestled in a cozy space, we arrived just before the dinner rush, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

I opted for the veggie gyro, which turned out to be a superb choice. The accompanying side of fries, drizzled with their delectable $1 hot sauce(pricey for a side of sauce imo), was a delightful surprise. The hummus was perfectly textured, a creamy delight to complement the meal. Don't skip the fries, and if you're feeling adventurous, the spicy flavored ones are a must-try.

What truly sets Gyropolis apart is the warm and welcoming staff. I appreciated their attentiveness, particularly when I requested a glove change due to my vegetarian preference – they happily obliged.

Clean restrooms and ample parking add to the overall convenience, although the popularity of this spot means parking can fill up quickly.

One suggestion for improvement would be to use tongs when assembling salads and fillings. This would prevent any cross-contamination with meat and ensure a worry-free experience for vegetarian patrons.

In sum, Gyropolis deserves a solid 5-star rating. Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say it's a Twin Cities favorite that I'll continue to frequent. The fantastic food and hospitable atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone...

Gyropolis: A Love Letter in Pita Form

Some places feed your stomach. This one feeds your soul.

I’ve been coming to Gyropolis since 2005—yes, that was the era of flip phones and low-rise jeans, and this gem was already serving up ridiculously good gyros with ingredients that actually taste like someone cares. Because they do.

This is a family-run spot, and you can feel it. The same familiar, kind faces greet you today as they did all those years ago, which tells you everything you need to know: they’re doing it right, and people stay when the vibes (and food) are that good.

The new building? A straight-up monument to their passion. It’s like their own edible temple of quality. Sleek, welcoming, and filled with the kind of warmth you don’t find in chain restaurants or cookie-cutter cafes.

I always build my own: lamb, regular tzatziki, feta, mozzarella, lettuce, cucumber, and tomato—chef’s kiss. Every bite is the perfect balance of fresh, bold, and comforting. And don’t even get me started on the cookies. They’re incredible. I still hold out hope they'll someday share the recipe with the world... or at least with me.

Whether you’re new in town or a Bloomington lifer, do yourself a favor and make this a regular stop. Gyropolis isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a delicious,...

This quaint little restaurant is not to be missed. I have been trying to get here for months after seeing them on TV. Today I had the spicy pork gyro and it was awesome. The pork was sliced and stacked in the traditional shawarma method. The pork was tender and perfectly carmalized. The spicy tatziki sauce was hot enough to remind me I was alive but not too hot that I needed ice water. All of the ingredients were fresh and you could really tell that the family runs this place with a passion for food that left me wanting more. I live 30 minutes away and I'll be back as soon as I can. Well, came back the next day. 24 miles from home and still worth it. I had the pork gyropolis. It was great. Fresh pita, fresh red tomato, overall a great buy. $7.45 for a gyro and today a pork gyro came with a free meal upgrade. The seasoned fries are tasty and not spicy.
