Hobby Lobby — Local services in Bluefield

Hobby Lobby hates scale modelers; especially modelers of aircraft and military armor. About everytime I go in there to buy paints or thinner, they've raised the prices. Last month the Vallejo 17ml bottles of acrylic paints and the thinner was priced at $2.99 a bottle. I go in today to pick up 3 bottles of the Vallejo Thinner and it's been raised to $4.99 per 17ml bottle. It's not enough that Hobby Lobby significantly overprice model kits, $20-$30 more than any other hobby shop or store, allowing the 40% off coupon to be used on a particular kit to bring it down to what the kit should actually sale for; making people that don't know any better, think they're getting such a great deal, but you have to be greedy and raise the prices on the paints as well. Its not just the model products, its oil paints, canvas, art supplies and everything that Hobby Lobby sells, they mark it way up and the 40% off coupon brings it down to actual retail price, making whatever item (s) it is available elsewhere at a much cheaper price. Hobby Lobby sure has went downhill since they've opened in Beckley, WV and Bluefield, WV with steadily raising prices on certain items. They run the monopoly on all this stuff in this area because sadly, there are no brick and mortar hobby stores in this area and they know this, so they can just screw everyone wanting or needing hobby supplies. Hobby Lobby should be ashamed of themselves but I guess I shouldn't expect much from a company who was caught owning and buying stolen ancient Christian artifacts a couple years ago.
