To be fair, Iām writing this review while Iām pretty upset. Iāve lived at this community since it opened. I actually love the interior. Thereās great storage space in the bathrooms and itās a really large kitchen for an apartment.
However, there are some downsides that Iāll be frank about.
1- The breezeways are filthy and itās almost embarrassing to have people over. I get that we live in a really windy location and there is a rock quarry nearby to explain the dust. But it just looks terrible.
2- For the reasons above, I canāt really use my balcony. Itās always so dusty. I canāt keep any furniture clean. Itās just not worth it.
3- The parking situation is out of control. Weāre assigned a space but I have had multiple occasions where someone else is parked in it and I canāt get a response from the office or the towing company. Currently, I have a car thatās been parked in my space for 18 hours. I initially knocked on my neighborās doors to make sure they didnāt accidentally park there. Nope. Not their vehicle. So I called the towing company per the instructions from the office. The towing company wouldnāt do anything unless they received a call from the office. Of course this was the weekend so I called the office number and got through to an answering service. They said theyād have someone call me. I did receive a call instructing me to text a photo of the carās license plate and theyād contact the resident to move it or get it towed. Fast forward 18 hours later and the car is still there. I tried calling the answering service again and all they will do is tell me that itās not an emergency so they canāt do anything about it. Look, I know itās not a fire or a flood. Itās not going to do anyone any physical harm. But itās an emergency to me. Iām so frustrated that this keeps happening and no one will assist me. Why am I paying for something I canāt use? Itās especially irritating now because weāve got unassigned parking spots that the office has asked us not to use to assist with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI lived here for a year. When I first moved in they had 5 star reviews. I was excited to live somewhere that had good management....
Well, I was wrong.
The day I had signed & scheduled to move in no one showed up to give me my keys and we sat outside most of the day trying to contact management. We called maintenence several times and they said it wasn't an emergency and hung up on me. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Then a month after the incident the property manger blamed me. I honestly can not fathom how that's a thing. I've never had a rental pull that garbage before.
The entire time I lived there they barely cleaned the hallways or elevators. A broken beer bottle once stayed in the elevator for a few weeks before they did anything about it. The pool was always gross, as pretty as it was it was not well kept.
The gym said it was cleaned on Wednesdays. It was never cleaned. I walked by during their cleaning window...they were never there.
My move out statement came back fine compared to some of the others on here. However, I was told I could avoid cleaning charges if I deep cleaned the apartment according to their list myself but that was not true I was still charged a cleaning fee. I also have yet to receive what was left of my deposit check back and it's well passed the 4-6 week timeline they gave for receiving it. It's been 3 months. Again more excuses & blaming from them.
Also, I have read a lot of the other 1 star reviews. All of the ones I've read had valid complaints that I experienced too. (Inaccurate time/date of entry, fire alarms, smoking residents, dirty buildings)
I wouldn't recommend this building to anyone unless you thoroughly enjoy being frustrated and disappointed on a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is great unless you need someone else to take over your lease. My husband and I had to leave Utah due to a new job offer. During this time (3 weeks to be exact), we had found TWO people who were qualified to take over our lease. When we first moved in it took 2 hours for us to be qualified. It took the first person 6 days, and then they backed out because it was taking so long. When we called (4 times) to see where his application was, we got different answers each time. The only time someone told us the truth was when my husband threatened to turn them in for fair housing because we felt like our matter wasnāt taken serious due to them not making money off of it.
The second person, same thing happened. When we finally found a third person to take over our lease, after my husband repeatedly called and made sure, things went through. After everything was said and done, the new people had taken over the lease, and it was no longer ours, we were charged rent (even after it was out of our name and they signed and took over before the month ended) they did not remove our card information, and both people were charged. When we called to fix it, the lady told us there was nothing they could do about it and we needed to figure it out. Overall it was a nice, clean place to live. But as soon as we inconvenienced them (even though we found multiple qualified people to take the lease over) things changed. Some of the most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. It blows my mind how bad a place can treat you if they arenāt making money from it.
Save yourself the time & just pay the ridiculous $100 extra every month for...
