I wanted to support a local family company. My little really wanted to have matching Halloween costumes, which I usually make, but have been strapped for time as a solo mamma. I saw cute costumes at Sparkle in Pink and figured it would be good quality for the price. I read through all the sizes and how to size and took both my kiddo's measurements as well as mine, and went one size up for each of us, in case it's chilly and we need layers. Pick up the costumes, take them home, try them on. Kiddos, fit a little loose as expected, I can always take her tutu in if needed. I ordered a 2XL rather than an XL, again for layering purposes. The top was giant, and not at all near the measurements, but it's fine I can make it work. TUTU, did not even to past my thighs, tried putting it over my head, and it was super tight. Measured it per their measurements and it's too small. Held it up to a 5T(L) toddler size, and THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE, with hers stretching even a bit more than my 2XL. I figure, oh well, tutus are rough to make sometimes, when you sew onto the elastic, it can reduce the stretch. Happened to me many times. No big deal. I make time to trek back to their warehouse and explain to the gal that I must have got the wrong sized skirt in my 2XL order because the shirt is large, and the skirt is the same size as my kiddos child size. She looks me dead in the face and asks me, "so you want a size 3XL." I say no, I used the measurements online and even sized UP one, and want a different skirt as the shirt is fine, I wanted it a bit bigger. She goes, "okay so do you want to return it?" I say "No, I don't. I want to check the size of the skirt, it's the only thing that's wrong, can we go see the XL size?" AGAIN because that's the size I MEASURED into form their measurements online. So she brings up the XL. I pull out the skirt, and try it on. GOES to the same spot on my legs. I put it next to the 2XL. SAME skirt size. So again, I let her know the TUTU sizes are off... and don't match the descriptions. She then goes, "So do you want a size 3XL?" I say, "No thanks, I just want to return my full order at this point the skirts are all the same size and fit my 4 year old." Because respectfully, NOOOO MA'AM, I do NOT want to be flooded in a GIANT shirt for size 3XL when your measurements online put me at an XL. I WANT the correct sized TUTU for my 2XL order. LOL terrible customer service. The quality wasn't even that great for the price to be honest. I hoped to support local but can just order elsewhere or make the actual time it takes to make a TUTU correctly. :)
Point; I just want to say, don't order the TUTU offline paying any kind of shipping, because I swear you'll most likely be sending it back and wasting your time and money. EVEN if you use their measurements offline, they will be wrong, and they won't care or help you. The customer service was terrible and frankly, I don't think they'll respond to fixing that.... Thankfully my kiddo was into mamma finding us matching better...
Read moreDon’t order from this company if you need anything in a timely manner! They don’t use a reliable shipping service. They’ve shipped my package with some cheap and unreliable “OSM worldwide.” The package has been sitting in my town for 5 days and has no movement. When you call OSM, they tell you to call the seller, and the seller obviously blames it on the shipper. If I had any way to contact this company (like I would with USPS, FedEx, UPS) I could pick it up, but they have nothing.
I ordered August 1st and needed it by the 14th for the first day of school. I ordered well within their shipping time frame listed on their website, but when I call- “ it can actually take up to 5-10 business days”. Had I known they didn’t use a reliable carrier, I would never have ordered to begin with because this ALWAYS happens with these companies trying to save a few bucks on shipping. I asked them to just cancel my order, which would be the right thing to do in this situation, and they could deal with rerouting it back. They claim they can’t do that, so thankfully I used a credit card that will help me because I’m absolutely not going to deal with “restocking fees” IF it ever shows up.
I’ll know be spending the last day of summer driving around town trying to find something for my girls to wear on the first day of school. They are so distraught because they picked these outfits out and now we...
Read morePOOR customer service! Received a shipment today as a first time customer. I was not happy with one of the bows. I had hoped for the price it would have been better quality.
I called customer service to see what I needed to do to get a different one. I was having issues getting my email up to get my order receipt. That irritated the customer service rep and she was incredibly rude to me. She asked me to describe it, and so I tried, but I had a mini stroke and struggle finding words sometimes so that seemed to make her even more mad. Eventually she just said "Fine. You've been refunded for the bow THIS time. Donate it or something. BYE"
I won't return. Not because of the bow.. The other items I received were adorable and seemed to be a little better quality. I won't return because of the lady on the phone and the way she treated me. I don't think its good practice to treat your customers like you are doing them a favor by refunding money for products that should have never been sent to them in the first place. I have never had an experience like this when I have shopped local. Its really a shame.
But, I will go and donate the bow. Right into the trash,...
