If there were more than a possible 5 stars, we would give it. My wife's 50th birthday gift was a trip to the Flagship "Mecca" of Spartina for my wife. Heather (Store Manager), Kathy (Lead party girl) and Jennifer all collaborated to make an EXTRA SPECIAL visit for my wife where they pampered her and treated her like a queen. They were AMAZIING with their hospitality and the selections that Jennifer and Kathy brought for my wife were spot on! We were treated like royalty and words cannot express how appreciative I was for that! The Spartina founder, and CEO, Kay even came in to say hello and "Happy Birthday"! What a special day! As for the store and products....wife LOVES the purses, clothes, accessories and well, just about everything Spartina. She has been a fan of Spartina for over 10 years and this was an amazing day! These people made me feel so unwelcome and self conscious because the entire time I was there one lady followed directly behind me waiting for me to steal something I suppose. I don't steal, I don't need to. I had shopping bags in my hand where I obviously purchased things at other stores. They shouldn't do this to anyone without someone giving them reason. I entered spoke to the lady at the front for a few minutes then starting shopping. An older lady was stuck to my side like glue. I'm dressed nicely (which again shouldn't matter but let's be honest, it does) I was talkative and friendly with them and still the older lady was stuck to my side like I was about to pull off the heist of the century. Someone just shared an article about Bluffton being the nicest small town in South Carolina, and it prompted me to post this story. I own a small business that provides materials for Spartina in Bluffton, and I occasionally have to make deliveries. On one such day, I was dressed in jeans, a company polo, and tennis shoes. I went into the store to make the delivery, and I was greeted promptly with a friendly smile. Additionally, I was invited in to shop. There are many salespeople who would assume a delivery person could not afford to shop there, but that is not how I was treated.
