One of my lady friends bought me an expensive gold nugget watch for my birthday in 1991 that cost over $2,200! One day the battery needed to be replaced and after watching a YouTube video on how to do it, I thought I could do it. I did okay with taking the back off and putting in a new battery. Unfortunately, I destroyed my expensive gold nugget watch trying to put the back on it. I broke everything, including the long hand that shows the minutes. I couldn't believe after all those years of having a beautiful gold nugget watch to wear, I had destroyed it in the matter of a few minutes. I was sick to my stomach! But then I thought about taking it to Michael's Jewelry here in town and see if he could possibly fix it. He explained to me that because of the odd shape of the crystal and the age of the watch, he wouldn't be able to fix it. But then he gave me hope when he asked me to leave it with him and he would see what he could do. Within a week or so, he called me and told me my watch was ready! When I got there, Michael informed me that because the inside of the watch was damaged beyond repair, the watch function couldn't be repaired. But the miracle Michael had performed was changing my broken gold nugget watch into a GOLD NUGGET BRACELET! Making it where I could at least be able to wear it again! I loved it and it looked fantastic! I now have a gold nugget bracelet with a "watch" on it! And on top of all the time and work involved, I figured the repair bill would be at least a couple of hundred dollars. But the repair bill was less than $95! I was very happy about that too! It was a super great experience doing business with this store! If you have broken expensive jewelry that you want to start wearing again, I strongly recommend that you take it to Michael's Jewelry in Blytheville, Arkansas! Because if he can't fix it nobody can! He's very understanding, friendly and has reasonable...
Read moreOn July 18, 2024, I went to Michael's Jewelry to replace the battery in my watch. At the time, I didn't know it but Michael's son used a defective a battery as a replacement. During August 2024, I noticed that my watch had stopped working. I went back to Michael's Jewelry during September 2024 to complain about the defective battery when Michael noticed that the back plate on my watch was missing. I told Michael that obviously his son didn't put the back plate on or he had failed to securely lock the back plate to my watch, which resulted in it falling off somewhere. Michael told me, "There's nothing I can do" and offered me nothing in return to resolve my issue. I ended up having to scrape my watch that I have had for many years because of his son's negligence. I would strongly recommend not doing business with Michael's Jewelry in Blytheville, AR. They are untrustworthy, very unapologetic and totally indifferent to satisfying...
