My boyfriend works in Blytheville, and he has always hyped up the Dixie Pig. When we finally got the chance to go, of course we took it, and I do not regret the hour drive at all. I know Dixie Pig is known for their BBQ, but I have been on a catfish kick lately, and so of course I tried their catfish, and I was not disappointed, but I will be honest, I was expecting it to be better. The catfish was a lot smaller than most catfish I have eaten at other BBQ restaurants in Arkansas, and it had that really fishy taste that catfish get sometimes if they're farm raised. The breading was great though, and I love catfish regardless, so it was still a solid 4/5 stars. Really, it's the homemade tartar sauce that made it so good. Honestly, I wish I bought some just to take it to go, it was that good. I had a bite of my boyfriend's pulled pork sandwich with the BBQ sauce, and honestly, if you go to Dixie Pig, you HAVE to get the sandwich. I honestly was jealous by his order, and that's why I stole a few bites. Our waitress was also the sweetest ever, and I love the vibe of a BBQ house. Overall, 5/5.

I am from Kansas City and am a Road warrior. I spend most of my travels seeking out barbecue places to try. From Canada to California to the Carolinas and I must say this place is easily in the top five that I have ever had. Mainly because, this is real, Hometown, regionally specific food. Their sauce through me in a tangy vinegar loop like you threw Arthur Bryant‘s and Carolina style into one. Hand cut fries are just like Arthur Bryant‘s, I got the small pork plate, which was served with a mix of chopped and pulled pork, absolutely fabulous and filling! Lady said that they have homemade blue cheese dressing, which is tops in my book, make sure if you order a side of fries that you get an extra one of these! So unique and absolutely delicious! I opted for a small cup of beans on the side And they were full of flavor, tender, and could substitute as a meal by themselves! They do rib specials, Wednesday and Thursday and catfish specials, if I can make it down this way again for business I will stop in on one of those days and try it out!

Will not go back. They may have started out 100 yrs ago, but now not so good. We ordered onion rings, and they came out overcooked or cooked in old grease. My husband got the 2 piece catfish and said it was good, I got the bbq sandwich, not all that. Even the buns were dried up looking. The frys looked old and overcooked. I don't know why we didn't walk out. I do not recommend this place and will not go back. We paid 80.00 dollars for 2 pieces catfish dinner, 1 large pig sandwich, 4 regular pig sandwiches, 2 French fries, and 4 drinks, 1 large onion rings. It's not worth it. And for being there for 100 years, they do not do Veterans discount. I could kick myself for not walking out.

Just stopped by on a Tuesday to check it out. They had the grill fired up but wasn't providing BBQ ribs until Wednesday so after looking thru the menu I noticed that they had tamales so I ordered some. And they were great. So we when by Thursday to get some more tamales and she said they had ribs available. So I ordered the Large rib plate and the wait was 20 to 25 minutes . No problem for me because I wanted to try them. Got my food to go . Drove about 1 miles and had my wife to open the plate to take a look. And I'll be the fries and onion rings were cold and burnt. I couldn't believe it. The ribs were old and tasted boiled with no smoke flavor at all! We had to turn around and take it back. When we arrived back to the restaurant and showed the cashier the plate she had an attitude. Clearly Stevie Wonder could see the food was bad. Never again I'm my life would I return. So much...
