Ok, so I usually shop at Unique bc I absolutely love them. I was on the side and stopped in to get products to moisturize my hair as I was about to have my wash day and was out of product, being natural..deep moisturizing is important to me and dues to my schedule I didn't want to go to the Northside. I understand that they have pictures posted of theives and think they need to put themselves up there....i purchased 5 products that roughly came up to $55. I had several stops to make before going home. When I got home and unpacked my bag, there were only 4 products. I baked the store as I know they have cameras and asked them to review so they could determine where the missing item was. I was asked if I could be called back and agreed. Sure enough I received a call and was told that the camera was reviewed( by the way..time lapse 5 min) and that the product was placed in the bag and I left the store with it...ok, you may be used to ppl trying to get over but I'm honest. I asked if I could come to review the footage as well. I was told that I could but the person who waited on me said he would not be there but someone would be. I was not making a trip that night and was going to review it on Sunday. They appeared to not want to sway when they said I had the product and I'm telling them I didn't. So I decided to let them have this one. My little $55 is not going to stop their growing empire, but I will not shop anywhere that tells me I have something I don't as I see it as a sign of disrespect. I work hard for my coins and if they do this 4,5 times a day... wow . The profit that make... i'mma stick with unique.i just felt the general public needed to know bc they never put that other...
Read moreSo, hair depot responded to a post i wrote about a month ago... the items in question i was speaking of were specifically the HAIR items.. so saying that all "6" items were put in the bag is just...UNTRUE. They may say they have no reason to lie and I say the same... I'm not going to spend my time letting the public know that i was ripped off if I wasn't. Standing on business most def check your bag before leaving the store. Again I say if they misappropriate even one item from even every other customer they're winning off of your coins. Just like im told they post pictures of thieves...well....iykyk.......!! I post the good as well as the true....never received one of the HAIR items...period. There is no question of then being responsible for what happens when I leave the store as they stated.. this happened BEFORE I left the store and was only noticed once I got home. Like I said.. and it won't hurt your bottom line as I'm only one person, but you'll NEVER get my business again and to make matters worse instead of owning up to what the gentleman did not do you put it on me...nah..
Update* as I publicly went to say that an item was missing from my purchase, I will publicly come back and say that after months.. the item was found and I owe a formal apology to this establishment. I deeply apologize and am grown...
Read moreBought a hair dryer, took it home used it and the tip melted. Took it back to the store 2 hours after purchase for an exchange because of course they won't refund you. You can't find a store like it that will, but that's neither here nor there. I took it back for a replacement because I just spent $65 on it. They told me to call the company to replace it because it worked before giving it to me. That wasn't the complaint. It still worked when I took it back but had melted. These people didn't care, wouldn't replace it or nothing. But that's how you're treated after spending $70 in their store. I wouldn't recommend shopping here and it's definitely my last time. I mean honor what you say. Store credit or replacement if brung back within 7 days of purchase. Mine was bought back within 2 hours and this is the service I get. DON'T SHOP THERE!!!! Oh and the same dryer was $30 on Amazon...but they charged...
