Don't waste your time at this overpriced and trashy dispensary. Their prices are much higher than other local spots (I recommend gLeaf Warren for cheaper vapes and Green Leaf Therapy in Struthers for cheaper flower). The product sold here is low quality for the huge price tag. Their tiny parking lot that has more potholes than parking spaces. I've had several mediocre experiences at this dispensary, including being harassed in their parking lot by another patient, but this is the one that's cemented my opinion of this place.
They turned me away from purchasing medical cannabis recently stating "we saw your husband hand you some money" (which he didn't. he handed me my ID from our center console), so their security as well as some dude from the Leaf Relief team informed me that because money changing hands is indicative of trafficking, I was being asked to leave the dispensary. I offered to have my husband come in and present his valid state ID and medical card to clear up any issues, as well as offered to present my own medical cannabis card, and offered multiple alternative methods of payment, but they informed me that I had to leave.
I'm not sure if this speaks more to casual sexism in the cannabis industry, or more to not wanting to do your job the closer you get to closing time, but either way it definitely should not have been how the situation was handled. It's 2025. A woman should be able to purchase her own medical cannabis without being accused of trafficking because she simply must be buying it for a man. Not to mention that it would be very tacky and a poor business model to randomly accuse regular patients of drug trafficking just so that you don't have to spend 10 minutes with me dispensing my medication just because it's within 40 minutes of you closing.
Anyway, the TLDR is that there are other dispensaries super close to this one that are better priced with higher quality product, have daily sales, have more knowledgeable and personable staff, and that treat their...
Read more*UPDATE: I did receive a call from a manager, who was very apologetic of the employees behavior and ensured me that the situation would be addressed, and that proper measures would be put in place so instances of discrimination like this do not happen in the future. I am always happy to have a positive conversation on remedying instances of discrimination for the sake of social progress and the rights of disabled people. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my partner's disability, he will most likely never feel comfortable visiting this dispensary again. Best of luck to leaf relief in their forward progress towards equal rights for those with disabilities. I'm hopeful that this situation provides them a learning opportunity.
Today, my lovely partner with a traumatic brain injury from combat military service was denied service at this dispensary because he has memory loss, and looked at his phone to remember which product he was going to purchase. This morning, he had taken a screenshot of the product from the dispensary website so that he didnât forget which item it was, as he has some pretty serious memory loss and gets very anxious when engaging in public interactions from his other disability: combat related PTSD. I really hope that the individuals that are working at this dispensary are educated on the medical conditions and disabilities for the people that they are assisting, and if found to be unsatisfactory I really hope this dispensary can work towards providing better education for their employees regarding different types of medical conditions and disabilities that are treated with medical marijuana. Because today my partner, one of our veterans that gave his life to serve and protect, was really hurt that he was made out to be a suspicious drug seeker because he simply could not remember the name of a product and had to double check. Really really messed up. Do...
Read moreI was visiting from Florida and found out 2.83 is whatâs considered an eighth in Ohio, Ohio. Thatâs my first problem. Then, this particular dispensary you canât see any of the products. They have an intake individual give you two options of what youâre gonna buy that day and thatâs it. The staff is not knowledgeable. They are not friendly. The facility is way too loud. You canât even hear yourself think or even hear what theyâre saying to you. When I walk in. Iâm supposed to be paying $28 for this eighth and when I get to the counter it wind up being $36 and that was with an apparent 40% off. I donât know what the rules in Ohio are and if you guys are allowed to price hike recreational as much as you possibly want, but on average medical marijuana on the cheap end would cost me about 110 a month for an ounce in Florida and even if you wanted 50% THC and top-of-the-line product, you will literally not pay more than 170 for an ounce. They also have deals for every dispensary you go into for a first time person. This place didnât offer anything like that. No frequent flyer miles, no points added up for money off, didnât ask me if I had a food stamp card or if I was a veteran with status so I could get a discount I know I was entitled to. I canât stress enough that youâre not allowed to see the products until theyâre handing it to you. The bud itself, when I got home, it was so dry. It literally crumbled up into a powder in my hands. I smoked two fat joints out of an eighth, thatâs literally it because it was so dry. It became like powdered dirt. Do not waste your money here. Go...
