I went there on Saturday (8/16) around 12:15 to get lunch for my husband and I. At the drive thru I ordered two number 7 (quesadilla) combos but with steak instead of chicken on the quesadillas with a soft taco for one combo and no lettuce on the crunchy taco for the other combo. I had also ordered a chips with cheese and both drinks were the new Baja midnight. Those last items were the only thing correct about the entire order. The person working the drive thru didn't repeat anything I ordered (despite me repeating it several times) nor was i asked to verify if anything on the screen looked correct. If I had been asked any of that I would have been able to say the order was incorrect at the time of ordering. Instead what was on the screen was an order for two luxe boxes which I has assumed was for the car in front of me (again no verification of my order was done while at the speaker or at the window). I paid for the order and drove home only to find out that the order that had been on the screen was the order they gave me. Most of the food had to be thrown out because there were ingredients on everything that either myself or my husband will not eat. My husband called shortly after I got home with the food and spoke with the manager on duty. She said we would just need to go back out one day and explain what happened and inform the manager working that the number 7 combos would be covered (thank you to Raina for trying to make things right). My husband went out there tonight (8/20) to take care of that and order some extras that we wanted to pay for only to be met with irritation from the manager on duty who rolled her eyes at him as if he was inconveniencing her and the staff. The manager then proceeded to argue in front of him with staff resulting in the worker on drive thru being sent home. The manager told my husband that he was going to be responsible for the upcharge for the quesadilla combos to be made with steak despite being told that the meals would be covered. Several of the drinks were out while he was there. He did not order any of the extras we had planned on getting. The manager tonight fighting with her staff made the situation awkward to the point where he didn't want to be there anymore to add...
Read moreLiterally the worst Taco Bell location I’ve ever been to. I placed a mobile order and pulled up to the speaker and gave them my name, they verified my order and told me to pull to the window. I got my food and realized they were missing ingredients and they were out of sour cream, almost all of my items had sour cream on them and I even paid for a side of it. They didn’t even tell me at the speaker that they were out of it and just made my order without it. When I came back to return my order and get a refund so I can go to another Taco Bell, they said they can’t do anything about it because I ordered on the app. Okay fine so then they need to start telling people if they are out of items/ingredients before they start preparing the order to avoid these issues, so the order can be canceled. I also didn’t receive the sauces I ordered or any napkins. They didn’t even put the nacho cheese sauce on the items I ordered, like the Crunchwrap, which comes with it, and there was obviously no sour cream either, just dry and gross. Location is extremely slow and employees...
Read moreThree years ago, I brushed off an incident where one of your employees spat in my coffee. I let it go. But today, I experienced something that reopened that wound — and I can’t stay silent anymore.
During a recent interaction, I was mocked for my accent. I’ve dealt with this kind of behavior more times than I care to count, but this time it was different. As I greeted a staff member and started my order, she muted her mic — and immediately after, I heard laughter in the background. When I asked if she could hear me, she claimed she couldn’t. I pointed out the laughter I heard, and it was clear what was going on.
I chose to back out of the situation because I would not feel comfortable eating food in a place where I had just been mocked — not only unprofessionally, but racially.
Mocking someone’s accent is not funny — it’s disrespectful, degrading, and rooted in ignorance. Whether subtle or loud, this kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be called out. I deserve to be treated with respect, just like...
