This has to be the most useless not knowing anything about anything store I have ever been to. Well let me rephrase that the employee that was supposed to help me was a knuckle head just didn't understand what I was telling him. This was what I ask for I need to go from 1/2" brass male to PVC 1/2" Female so I need an adapter. I don't understand if both are 1/2" why do you need an adapter. Because brass threads are different from plastic they won't work together.Nah you don't know what your talking about this is what you want. Sir that's not gonna work the brass won't screw into the plastic. No your wrong This is what you need I gave up paid for something I knew wouldn't work because I already had the exact pieces. Threw those out the window going through Red Apple went to Mountain Top hardware told the man what I needed gave me the two I needed $4.00...

What a nice store with fast service and I do mean fast and friendly. After a gentleman had helped me and went to check on the item I requested, while I waited three other people stopped to ask me if I needed help, how awesome in todays age. One more reason I love my local ACE Hardware, thank you. I would like to add how helpful David & Terry are in the Stihl department, they almost always have the parts I need in stock and for some reason if they don't, David has always managed to get them for me in 3 days. I can be honest in saying, I have never had such great service...

Most all of the staff are very helpful and extremely nice. My only complaint is that some of the younger guys aren't very knowledgeable about things. Instead of having someone who is help (even when I suggested it), they assured me they had it. They gave me multiple parts that did not fit one another.
