I typically do not do public reviews but I had such an awful experience with this store I felt I should share. I spent a very large amount of money with this store and had the absolute worst customer service I have EVER had. I order dining room chairs from Catrinas and when I first called to check on my order they acted like I never placed an order with them. I had already made a deposit so thank goodness I had kept all the paperwork. Then when the chairs finally came in they were the wrong chairs. I was told they would have to go back through their paperwork to check but they believed these were my chairs. Again thank goodness I had the pictures from the company to prove what I had ordered. So once again they had to reorder. So when they finally came in they were the wrong leather and the tufting looked awful! Nothing like what I had ordered or was shown I would be getting. I asked if I could get my deposit back because they were not what I had ordered and I was told no that these were the chairs that I ordered and was getting. They corrected the tufting because it was so bad but told me the leather was what I was getting. I was told the leather differed from each hide. I get this but a totally different color has nothing to do with a hide. They even had a chair in the store that I said I wanted the exact leather and she assured me this is what they would look like. Even the sample leather piece was what I liked but not what I received . I will NEVER do business with them again. Now every time I look at my chairs I am almost sick because of what I spent and what they sold me. I will have to take them and get them recovered by a professional that will stand behind their work. Catrina, owner of Catrina’s, made our house a home! Catrina spent many hours getting to know us and our home. She invested time in understanding our taste and presented us with an elaborate book of suggestions on what she would do to transform our home in keeping with our vision and desires. Her suggestions were spot on! We ultimately purchased many of her recommendations and we are so glad we did! We chose pieces for our living room, dining room and bedroom. Each piece was carefully crafted and made to order. They are magnificent and will last a lifetime. We received much of our order prior to CoVid; however, other pieces were delayed as the supply chain was affected by the COVID fallout. Yes, we were concerned about our prepaid order, but with a little patience from us, Catrina made it right and it was worth the wait! It’s also important to note that I always appreciated Catrina’s personal touch and responsiveness. Catrina’s staff and delivery team were also excellent. The store staff were always friendly, kind and helpful and the delivery team was careful and conscientious. While they were initially helpful, I was disappointed with the final product. I stopped by and was greeted warmly, and was told that the custom piece I was looking for would be no problem; "we have lots of experience with that." The product took weeks longer than initially estimated, was not really the color I was looking for, and was not the correct size (so much for them having lots of experience with that item). Also, they just dropped the piece off and didn't have someone help install it, although they had initially told me they would. To top it all off, no one followed up to see if I was happy with what I custom ordered from them.
