WARNING FOR AT&T INTERNET USERS! Check your internet bill, a couple of months ago Rodney went to the AT&T store by Walmart to pay a bill. The person that waited on him told him that the cost of internet was going up and then asked for his drivers license. He asked why she needed his license and she told him they do that with all customers. Well low and behold the next month's bill was double the cost. She upgraded our internet from 300 to 1000 without permission. I called customer service and they changed it back. Yesterday when Rodney went there to pay his bill, they tried it again, so if you deal with them, keep an eye on them. She screamed at me and said she didn't care that I couldn't hear and said she wasn't dealing with me. There were about 10 people in the store when she did it. Guess she couldn't handle being called out for ripping people off. She also wouldn't give me her name when I asked for it. Very rude and...

I asked her why and all she said was that everyone's bill would be going up. She took my driver's license for some reason and did something on the computer. About a week later I received a letter from AT&T about changes to my account. The next bill I got was 2X higher than normal. The woman upgraded my Internet 300 to Internet 1000 WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Customer service put it back to the 300 and gave me credit on my bill. When I went to pay my bill today I mentioned it to the manager. Her answer was that their job was to make money and she basically said I was lying. She then told me that they weren't a payment center and to mail or pay my bill online. AT&T's website says you can pay your bill at their stores. She was very rude and not very professional. We asked for her name but all she did was write Lacie on a post it paper. I would give 0...
Read moreRyan was the representative--he instantly greeted me and asked how he could help. He was sweet and knowledgeable--he immediately knew how to resolve my issue and got busy fixing my phone. During this time, a very elderly man came in to pay his bill, Ryan told him he could also be processing his bill for him and cheerfully said, "Don't worry, I can multi-task." He was the only person working in the store and 3 additional customers came in besides myself and the elderly man, Ryan kept working but instantly greeted the customers and told them he would assist them momentarily. This young man is an amazing employee with such a sweet demeanor and so quick and efficient -- your company is blessed to have him and you need more like him!!!
