I have been a resident since 2019. I have loved the location, quiet community and manager, Kay, until now. There is new management and maintenance has been a rotating door. My home is currently UNLIVABLE. I have not been able to stay at my home since Thursday. I called in a work order that my hot water was not working. When the temp staff came to fix things, they broke the water line. I was told by one guy, it took them time to find the building's water shut off. The other guy that was there said they did not realize the water traveled down my hallway and did not SHOP VAC the hallway up. When I was able to speak with manager the day after the water intrusion, she said remediation would arrive around 6pm. They never came to my knowledge. When I went to the office the following morning, she called them and asked them to return. Apparently, they arrived at 10pm but since I have a fan in the living room and I had my bedroom door closed trying to keep the noise and smell out, I cannot confirm if they knocked. Ultimately, I was told they would arrive on Friday. When I got off, at 4:30, I went to the office and they showed up at that time. They finally dropped off 13 fans and 1 large industrial dehumidifier. They also put test stickers on my walls where they did moisture metering. When I shared how bad the situation was to the manager, she down played the issue and said maintenance was able to shop vac 80-90% up. I have reached out to multiple professionals in maintenance and was told there is no way to shop vac water out of the carpet padding after it sat over 24 hours. There is black growth in the hvac closet. I have called daily with no answer. The one time the manager answered she told me she would reach out to the remediation team and get right back to me. That was the day before yesterday. I am beyond okay. I have a pet, children, work, etc. I am unable to be in my home due to noise and smell still. This happened Wednesday and it is the following Tuesday with no end in sight. At this point, I do not feel that the issue is being taken seriously, my health is not a priority, the inconvenience of finding a place to stay for a week and returning daily to properly care for my animal, the cost of running the machines now since Friday, the cost of not being able to eat at home, etc. I do not even want to return until someone communicates a responsible respectable plan. This is the 3rd water intrusion in my unit. The carpet has not been cleaned and now the smell and growth are out of control. I deserve to be transferred to a safe unit that is livable. This is beyond acceptable. I have been extremely patient and understanding but now that we are a week in with no communication and no end in sight, my patience is...
Read moreHorrible Place doing terrible customer service! I lived here three months shy of two years. Every few months I had water coming through my ceiling in multiple areas of my apartment. Including during heavy rains my front windows would pour water in . The issue was never properly addressed, sometimes I was even told the same things happened in staff members apartments and they just lived with it. The entire time I live there I kept my apartment Immaculate to the point of management asking me to use my apartment as a display to try to get refinanced. Which I kindly agreed to every single time. After about the eighth time of water coming through my ceiling I began to look for a new place to live. When I found one I gave proper notice and explained why I was breaking my lease 3 months early. I cleaned my apartment very well before I moved out, but I was still informed that I would not be receiving my deposit back due to breaking my lease. This is extremely frustrating that being kind and helpful,Never paying my rent late and living with incompetent repairs in constant water damage,that in the end I would be denied my deposit.
