Twisters Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Bonner Springs

Have been a few times over many years, never anything special. Today I met a friend for dinner. Ordered one of their summer lemonade drinks, it tasted of beer only. I told the waiter it wasn’t very good, even let my friend tried a sip; agreed it was awful. Sent it right back, asked for an iced tea instead:

When the bill came the $9.00 drink was on my friends' bill, not mine. I asked the waiter to have it removed, the waiter left. A girl came back with the ticket & my friends credit card. Said there is a "no refund wording on their drink menu". Well, there shouldn't be an issue with the drinks then!

She kept saying there was nothing she could do and I should have gotten something else. They need to tell customers that and not just take it away. I would have gotten something that didn’t taste like a canned beer.

Didn’t ask if I wanted a different drink, we were dine eating anyway. Ended up giving my friend the $10 for the drink. I have never sent a drink back before, it wasn’t the right measurements and having such a policy makes me think the drinks tend to be sent back?

In the future inform the customer of the policy instead of taking the drink and saying nothing. She said the waiter was new; again nothing she could do.

WORST SERVICE EVER. the food was good, though. so, ill start by saying that the waitress only checked on us one time, and asked no questions about our food, only if we wanted another pitcher. also, we ordered the friday special 'domestic pitcher $7' we chose blue moon, a domestic beer. I have stood atop majestic mountains in Colorado myself looking down on the very brewery that it is brewed at, so we know it's domestic. they switched it to leinenkugels summer shandy, which is also a domestic beer. when we got our check at the end of the meal, they charged $9.50 for the pitcher. when we asked the waitress about it she said the leinenkugels was a seasonal beer. so I reminded her that we ordered blue moon and she switched it on us and her reply was "oh, blue moon isn't domestic here" WHAT?! so she took our receipt and yelled over the bar (and the unnecessarily loud music) to the bartender, came back and said, "she said she's too busy and she'll come by when she can" then she patted the receipt as she set it on the table and turned around and walked away. we then left the $29 (the original receipt total was $29.02) on the table and made our exit, never to return to this sad excuse for anything but a bar for people to meet and exchange venerial...

My husband, children (5 of us) and I went to grab a quick lunch. We have always enjoyed Twisters. Service has always been amazing. However the last few times we have been there service has gone to crap!

Today, we waited 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. The waitress apologized for the wait. So it was fine, I placed an appitizer order as well as our drink order.

Our drink order was brought to the table, we were told she be right back to get our food order. Still no appitizer literally chips and salsa!

10 minutes goes by, 15 minutes go by. Hostess sits a table of 4. OUR waitress goes to that table immediately and gets their drink order, promptly brings their drinks and takes their food order. All the while STILL has NOT come back to our table to get our food order. I even said we are ready to order. She ignored us and walked to the kitchen.

All together we sat there for over 30 minutes and our food order was never taken, and appitzer never delivered. After waiting 30+ mintues for service. We got up and left!

What used to be a nice little gem in Bonner has gone down hill! Dont waste your time if your looking for good customer service, unless you're just going in to set at the Bar and...
