I love this store. Searching for products that are more natural and sustainable is becoming harder to find. I came here a while back because I have super sensitive skin and reacted to normal drug store deodorants. I bought the deodorant cream and not only did it last me a LONG time but also smells amazing. Long story short, I lost it and went back to store brand but had to come back to buy more for school. Today I bought shampoo,conditioner, chapstick, Q-tips and the deodorant. I love the that q-tips are reusable as I just got hearing aids so I have to clean my ears more often. I love that you use it rinse and boom all good again! I bought a new flavor of deodorant the grapefruit lemon and omg it’s amazing!!! Upon opening it the scent is super fresh, strong and citrusy! When I used the old deodorant I used about a scoop full but was informed I could use less which last longer. The deodorant not only smells good but last a while! I’m pretty active and I could go 2 days without applying it because it last so long! The chapstick is amazing. Super smooth, smells great, but also last a while. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is how our Friday night went down on 3/21/2025. We get into the store we’re just looking around, seeing what we wanted. The woman behind the counter was continually watching my boyfriend and I. Also let’s preface this by saying we are both POC. He is a black man just trying to shop nonetheless. Anywho, every time we picked something up she was there watching us browse and quickly made us uncomfortable but we thought maybe she was having a bad day. That was NOT the case. As we walked up to the counter to pay for our two items we received a very clearly microagression and she was visibly annoyed with us when all we were doing was trying to do support a small business. I recently visited with my husband and two friends of ours who happen to be black and I was deeply disappointed by my experience. The atmosphere in the shop felt unwelcoming, and I witnessed behavior that was outright racist. It was disturbing to see how my husband and I were welcomed with open arms and then seeing my friends being watched like hawks walking around the store and met with attitude and indifference. They actually made a purchase to support the business after they felt like that! It's disheartening to see such attitudes in our community, and I believe businesses should promote inclusivity and respect for all customers. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards creating a more welcoming environment...
