C&R Supermarket Boonville — Local services in Boonville

The place isn't all that bad, it's just a grocery store. But as P.E. Norris says, it has no positives. They cannot compete with WalMart because their prices are pretty high. It's a good place to go to get a few items, but when you are in need for lots of grocery, you could save a lot by going to ALDI's in Columbia or to WalMart. The place is also not very cheery or positive. But I will admit that the staff can be somewhat helpful. They also run out of stuff quickly. Also, don't use their "wannabe Coinstar" as I believe that thing ripped me off! But from time to time they usually have really good deals in their weekly flyer that comes with the Weekly. Also, you get a lot of "points" with their customer loyalty system. They are also not that bad about having five registers and only opening two at the time of peak demand, like WalMart. Some of the cashiers are also friendly.

The staff seems to be very friendly every time I go in there. I would love to shop there more often however the Walmart up the street always has the lowest prices when it comes to grocery items it just seems that C&R prices are always overpriced for the same things that you can get in the Walmart up the street. I wish that their prices could be just a little bit cheaper so that I could begin the shop here more and patronize them instead of Walmart who doesn't really treat their employees right as an overall company but when it comes down to feeding your family you have to get the most for your money so you have to go with Walmart because they are reasonable and C&R is just not when it...

Update We go to the deli quite a lot, absolutely love the catfish & sushi. And their produce is excellent quality. The employees are very welcoming, the store is always clean, and is well organized to help finding items quickly. The very few times I have looked for something that wasn't on the shelf, they didn't mind making sure there weren't any extras in the back. It is small enough for me to manage doing the shopping while still being big enough to have what I need. I have some medical issues, and being able to do my shopping if I am having a rough day can be a challenge for sure.
