So first the pros: good selection and good service. Cons: everything in the store is a couple dollars more than you would find it elsewhere, but that's to be expected for a liquor store. The real issue here is that when they get allocated bottles they price gouge. I bought a eh Taylor bottled in bond couple months ago for 75 which is about $25 over retail which is high but not stupid high. They now have the MSRP $60 bottle of eh Taylor single barrel for $150 and the $129 MSRP blood oath for $299. I get they are a business and want to capitalize on the whiskey collecting boom, but these practices sure don't engender feelings of loyalty and are very anti-consumer. If they were smart they would have raffles and sell them at a slight mark up. That's the sort of practice that makes people want to spend their money and be loyal. Easy in, easy out. Great place to go if you just want some beer and not fight a packed grocery store. Prices good too! Governor Lujan has just allowed them to reopen. The stipulation is, 25% capacity which equals 25 customers. I have been shopping at this Kelly's, since they opened. I have never seen more than 25 customers in the store since they opened.

This means, that Governor Lujan shut this store down for 3 months, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and cost the store and the folks that own it 3 months of Revenue. That also caused every customer of theirs, including me, to go into a grocery store, when all they wanted was a beer.

Super poor customer service. I like to stop there for my drinks after work, but they are consistently out of them. I’ve brought it up to multiple staff and I’m told that it is their sales rep that does the ordering for them. If something is consistently selling out maybe we should be ordering more of it. Today I brought it up to the owners attention attention that they are always out and I guess I would have to go back to shopping at the speedway.
