Tell me your favorite things to eat there? Daughter of the owners. #bosquefarmsnewmexico

Still working in the area and Southwest Grill was on our list to visit. Showed up around 1pm and there was still plenty of customers in front of us and more coming in. 50/50 pick up and dine in. While we were waiting in line I spoke to a regular of the restaurant and got a few recommendations from him. To be honest a good portion of customers were getting a variation of the Chicharrón. So I grab the burrito and added red chile and potatoes. It had a great taste and next time I will add the beans with it. The red chile had good flavor amd a positive spice level. They sell beef jerky there also but they were completely sold out. Must be pretty good. Will look for it again since we drive by it daily. The restaurant was clean and homey. The service was great and glad I had cash. Their Point of Sale doesn't give you an option for a tip just a jar in from of it. All in all very satisfied and will be stopping back in. Thanks.

A local favorite for authentic New Mexican food. The Green Chile stew, Posole, Carne asada burrito and red chile chichorrones are my favorites. They make a mean Frito pie as well. You can order the chichorrones by the 1/4 pound. Patience is key here they make your food and ring you up then the next person in line. Lunch can be a wait if alot of people are in front of you. The food is great. Nice small town diner close to Albuquerque.

This place is great! Best beans in town for sure. They also have some of the best biscochito's in my opinion, some like them differently but these taste amazing 😍. If you have ever met the owner you would know he is one of the coolest guys too, very nice and kind and soo friendly. I have many nice things to say about this place, very affordable and very tasty. The only negative things I have encountered here at Southwest Grill are the expensive drinks, and the semi rude/off-putting employees. The drinks are just small bottles for like 3 dollars, not a fan but still such a silly thing. However, the employees is not a small silly thing. I've noticed that many reviews complain that they have been treated rudely at the counter and I believe it, there is one employee in particular that seems to be pretty miserable, hard to talk to, not a smile, just very quick and get out of here kind of treatment. And if you don't speak Spanish then you can expect to experience that off putting attitude from her. They have allot of bisness there however, so I can see why the employees are so rushed or whatever. Aside from that one employee the rest of the staff is very nice, I already mentioned the nice owner, and sometimes you will find different staff working behind the counter wich makes going there all the more enjoyable. I recall that one employee is the exact polar opposite of the rude one I mentioned earlier. She is very friendly, happy, deffenitly an excellent worker. Always patient when it takes me ages to decide what I want, and I always get the same thing every time anyways lol. I remember this one as the one with glasses! Hopefully she stays working there. Anyways I hope this review was somewhat helpful. Southwest Grill isn't perfect, but it sure is delicious and affordable! I think it deserves 5 star because it's a local business, and the pros of going there far out...

Nothing special... food is subpar, service is poor, and coffee looked to be sitting out from prior day and we just went to McDs to get coffee instead. Even my female friend wasn't impressed, and decided not to order food or coffee, as she saw how I was treated by standing right behind me. They also never have what their menu says (tried on two different occasions) they never had what I went for. Also, don't even bother trying to get the "create your own burrito " as they'll say they can't do it. My experience with that was creating a burrito with chicharones and carne adovada, the bad attitude lady said "can't do it, we only have left the chicha burrito and the carne adovada burrito"; so, I'm like great, mix them with create own; she then states no. So, I'm not going to argue with an old incompetent service worker, she could've even charged me more for it, making more money for the business and I wouldn't have cared. So, I leave unhappy with a burrito I didn't want, no coffee, and my friend got nothing due to their service and attitude. Always treat the customer in the service industry as they are right, even if they're not and you'll last longer with repeat customers; but, I won't be back. Words of wisdom for this place, do what you say on menu, get new staff, make fresh coffee, and establish customer service training. The real winner here was Mcds right down the street; with, accurate menu, friendly, fast, trained staff, fresh coffee, and, always...
