I went there excited to use the doggy wash area for my mini poodle specially for the dryer because poodle hair type has to be completely dry to brush. When I started the drying process the dryer gave out. I tried the second one and that one wasn’t working either. Employee Garet went in there to try and fix them by pounding the dryers to the wall because apparently that’s how they get it to work but it didn’t work today. I went to the front with my wet dog to ask for a refund or maybe a complementary wash after they get the dryers to work. The lady in the front called the “manager” DAVID MONTOYA and told him the dryers weren’t working and his response was “ok and what do you want me to do about it?” I asked him if I could get a refund and he says “no” and stares at me. I asked why not if his facility isn’t properly working and he says “if you go to a restaurant and you eat the food you can’t get your money back” I told him if I go to the restaurant and have complaints because of the food yes I would get my money back that’s most restaurants policy. He then says well you used the facility and were pounding the machines on the walls. That’s when I had it! I told him HIS EMPLOYEE WAS POUNDING THEM TO FIX IT! He tells the lady up front to give me my money back. So my question is…if he was able to give me my money back because his facility wasn’t properly working why try to gaslight me into staying quiet and not wanting my moneys worth? DAVID MONTOYA needs more training and should learn to treat his clients with respect and not gaslight them. I asked for someone above him and he said “Alyssa will me here any other day”. I have always been treated well by the staff but tonight I went in with my dad and siblings looking for a new air filter for my compressor and let me tell you that I have never been treated so badly by staff. Each employee switched off as they followed us around the entire store as if we were gonna steal or something. They were extremely rude. I was looking at new shirts and the lady told me in anger "ugh I just folded those". By the way I ended up purchasing the clothes I "unfolded" I kindly asked for the manager and told him about my experience and he had nothing to say. Read moreI’ve never had trouble at tractor supply, always been nice and polite but today I was very surprised, There was a extra 50% off on items that where on sale, they also told us that there was a extra 50% off sale for plants, I went to the register and the lady would not honor what they said was on sale, I ask for a manager and I was told that it would take to much time to get one, and to top it off I was asked by another worker how long ago I was told about the sale, I had told the man that works there about 30 minutes ago and he said he was going to check the cameras to see if it was true…… my friend had no trouble at a different register but they gave me a hard time with this whole situation and then did not do my return or purchase correctly.
