I came back to this store because the young man yesterday was nice enough to assist me. I gave this store 1 star today because no one acknowledged me when I came in. There were 3 employees. One manager and two staff. Three other people came in and were addressed with “Hello” “How can we help you?” I guess I was wearing my mask so they did not wish to speak to me. But hey! None of them had their masks on. Since the young man that helped me yesterday, I decided to still buy something. The other part I was looking for was not available and I was told to check back in a few days because they have to unload their truck. I decided to just go to OReilly. I’m so glad they are opening a store in Haughton next to Becky Ann’s. Now they will have 2 stores in between Autozone and I can go to either one to my convenience. Needless to say, I did go to OReilly and the manager Billy addressed me as soon as I walked in, the 2 other staff even though they were assisting customers they still said hi. I will not be returning to this Autozone or any other ones in the area. They have lost my business due to their lack of customer service. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Kevin Roberts the Store Manager for going above and beyond the call of duty and doing something that is not the norm just to help a guy on the other end of the phone that he had never met or spoken to before. If not for his actions yesterday evening I most likely would not have made it home to my family last night. I don’t normally think of people as hero’s like I did when I was a kid but Mr. Kevin you are considered a hero in my book now.
