Your results may vary, but don't order online. I ordered my family 3 footlongs online to pick up at the store. I did this once before at this location. When you come in, the online orders are ready to be picked up on a rack beside the counter. This time when I came in it wasn't there. NO BIG DEAL, I just got in line, figured I'd let them know I was here and they could just start on it then. I get that people are busy, etc. However, this is not how it went. They asked me to step out of line and wait as my order was being prepared. I thought "oh, cool, no problem!". Guess what? My order was not being prepared. I stood there for 15 minutes, while guest after guest was served theirs sandwiches fresh to them right then and there, I counted at least 25 sandwiches before I stopped counting... where were mine? Some point mid-way through standing there they called my name and I said "that's me!" The person at the checkout just kinda looked at me funny and said "but it's empty". (ooookay?) So the waiting continued. When a couple of other customers walked in, asked me if I was in line, a gal behind the counter said "No, she's waiting". I just couldn't really handle it anymore. It was after 15 minutes of watching all these people come and go with their food and that was sort of the last straw. I just turned around and left. I felt like some weird fool put on display. It was ridiculous. My fiance ended up calling them to get a refund for me. But I won't be back here. I also don't understand how an online order can go this long. People place the order online so they can do the "waiting" at home or in their car. Imagine if I (or anyone) had limited time to get back to work with everyone's orders? Just geez. Also the time before where I did the online, the sandwiches were made wrong, but I figure that's the price you pay for not telling them what you want then and there. "Moral" of this story is, don't do anything except wait in line like the normal way to order, as that's the only way to actually...
Read moreMy husband was treated very poorly by the manager, who he was told name was Danny (a woman), when he was placing his order yesterday. She also made a comment about him to one of the employees saying, "You have to watch 'those people'. They will try to get over on you." I would like to know what she meant by that exactly??? And, is that how Subway trains their employees to talk to/about customers??? All he tried to do was pay for the sandwich only after initially wanting a meal since he was not being being served in a timely manner and was going to be running late for work. That comment she made was so unnecessary and highly inappropriate!!! A manager?!?! But, I did see another review state that the manager(s) are rude so apparently this may be an ongoing issue. In addition, he was also double charged for his food. He tried to tell her his card transaction said it was approved on the screen, but she told him it wasn't, and sure enough when he checked his account on his phone when he got to his vehicle, he was double charged. When he went to show/explain this to her, she rudely told him that he would have to wait 72 hours and to take it up with his bank before he could get a refund. Really???? Then when he asked for the general manager's number, he was told it couldn't be given out. I have never heard of that being that a lot of establishments have this information posted. We need the general manager's number ASAP to get this rectified. This was very disheartening for him to experience this in this wonderful Haughton...
Read moreOrdered a newer sandwich and asked for mozz cheese. Then when I wanted cucumbers the manager jumped in to educate me that certain sandwiches come with pre- designated veggies that you can only delete from but cannot add. Since I wanted mozz cheese that was the limit for making a change. I'd never heard of this and asked questions. She remarked "you don't have to be rude", I said I'm just asking questions, and she said "but you rolled your eyes". She is the manager, Dannie. She also said Subway is trying to be like Jimmy Johns. I go to Jimmy Johns often and order the items I want with no problem. My friend witnessed the exchange and said let's go somewhere else. I won't ever go to Subway again with them talking to customers so ugly. Terrible Customer Service. All this over asking for cucumbers 🤷♀️ It's Jimmy Johns for me...
