To say this journey was easy, well that would be a lie. Earlier this year we knew we were close to being able to buy a new home. We prayed for weeks on end before making the first step. I did all the research and called Regional Homes of Bossier City and Shawn Powell with Homes By Shawn happened to be the one to answer the phone that day. When we first visited the lot he sat down with us and gave us options and very simple easy to understand pricing. One of the things that stuck out to me was that EVERY house we went into had a Bible on the counter(and my home came with one in the drawer) We decided at that current time we weren't were we needed to be just yet. So we went home and reassesed our budget to make it happen. In early May we payed off more debt and were finally in a place to be able to afford this. And of course I texted Shawn and was like hey we are ready for this next step. When I say Shawn made this process as easy as it could be I mean it. Anything we had questions about he answered. Anything we were worried about he always reassured us. If something unusual or unexpected came up he was the first one to say hey we got this.He ALWAYS kept us informed. And he stayed on top of things. I honestly wholeheartedly believe that God had his hand in choosing this salesman to be the one to guide us through this journey. We stayed at Lebossier with our 4 cats while our single wide was being moved out and this one moved in. A lot of tears were shed for various reasons BUT GOD has shown that anything is possible if you just trust him. I remember specifically one day at the hotel. I was at my breaking point and honestly was falling apart cause everything seemed to be going wrong. My husband looked at me and said "I wish I could give you the ultimate peace God has given me, but I really need you to trust that God's got us babe". That first night in the house sitting on the floor in the living room and eating dinner and watching Dragon Ball Z Kai made it all worth it. This past Sunday the 13th Our Pastor came to pray over us and this house and it was so special to me. Earlier we were in the kitchen making dinner together. Something we couldn't do in the other house without getting in each other's way. Sometimes God guides you through the valley so that the mountain top is more beautiful than you'd ever expect. I can't wait to sit at the kitchen table that my dad is building surrounded by people I love in a home that's been in the works for years. "We dreamed about this" is our new motto!!! But may we never forget where we came from. I made a shadow box and put a picture of the old house in it with all the keys and it's going to hand by our front door. So my friends if you're ever in the market for a new home please please go to Regional In Bossier and ask for Shawn(The man with the sunglasses and yes EVERYTIME we've seen him they are on his head) you won't be disappointed because honestly they helped us more than they had to if I'm honest. 🏠🥰🏠🥰🏠🥰🏠 Remember that it will work out the way its supposed to. Just have faith!

Read moreLet me start by saying we worked with another dealer very near to Regional. For well over a month and many trips from Texas they had us approved for a home. We were very excited. Last couple of weeks they stopped answering. No calls returned or anything. Finally I found a very unprofessional email that said they had decided not to let us have the home. I wanted to quit. The home we picked was 138k. Your basic mobile home. I was devastated. Instead of quitting I continued my looking on Facebook. This time I read reviews. I chose to look at Regional Homes. The welcoming was way more inviting. The homes themselves are above the rest. We looked at alot. Every question we had from Mr. Donny was answered. They welcomed our children with open arms as well. We were optimistic when they said she could have our home. We had just went thru a lot. On July 15th they told us the home was ours. Me being a very worrisome person. I was afraid. They kept assuring me that everything was ok. It was my house and it would be at my land soon. Soon is an understatement. My house is being delivered today. Zero hassle. Zero lies. Zero telling me one thing and getting another. Sure the home we picked cost more. With that said let me tell you. It is furnished, it has a metal roof, a huge beautiful walk in closet, and offers more than what the place up the street had too offer. But our payments are cheaper for the same amount of time. Let me also add that Cole was a great help with all of this as well. He kept my spirits just as high. Closing was a breeze. Everyone in the building was a blessing. One man in a closing room and your family. You don't feel pressured in any way whatsoever. In my personal very biased opinion from my experience if you are looking for a home this is your place. Also our payments and interest rate are a major difference. That made us have complete faith in this place. They treat you like they want your business and family. Not like they are just making a sale. They will do their best to not make you feel like you are being left in the dirt. I will do another review after the set up, delivery, and the days during the warranty. I feel they will do an amazing job. I want to share every experience with you all. If you want a home with way less hassle than you could ever expect. please give these guys a chance. I don't think you will regret it. Very, Very pleased and Happy customer here. Thanks you so much Regional Family. We are proud to be a part of your family now. ❤️❤️❤️ I also have to give props too the lender. They were a great and painless...
Read moreJust wanted to post an update…. As of 11/12/23 I am still fighting to get my home completed. The factory is sending a crew tomorrow but after texting with them this evening, they do not have the necessary items to complete my home still. ANOTHER work order will have to be submitted so who knows how long this will take. Adding pics to show what I’m still currently dealing with. And of course this is just some…. There’s more
I wanted to give an excellent review of Regional Homes. Unfortunately, this has been a nightmare. I do not recommend them at all and if you would like more information, pictures, etc., please find me on Facebook. Long story short, my home was ordered in May and it has still not been completely setup as of September 17th. My kitchen did not arrive as I ordered it. The drivers that delivered my home, dropped it in the highway. The inexperienced setup crew caused even more damage trying to do the trim out. They even had a saw inside the home and got sawdust everywhere and it was left that way. The manufacturer is now supposed to be sending people out for repairs. (I will update my review when/if that happens) The manager, Cole Pearson, will not reply to text messages. I was told in the beginning that this would take 5-6 weeks +/- and 2 weeks for trim out. I asked about a time schedule several times and I was promised it was on that timeframe several times. I was promised repairs that have not happened. I have tried to be reasonable and understanding but at this point, I have lost all patience as nothing is being done. Lies, lies, and more lies. There is damage in every room of this home. The exterior is still damaged. I am still missing window screens, and dryer vent cover, the correct hood above my stove, my countertop looks terrible, all of the trim is terrible, I have missing grout in my shower as well as cracked tile, I still don’t have skirting because they won’t send anyone out to fix the ripped underbelly of the home. My floors have cuts in every room, they got paint all over the home. All of the decorative beams and walls had or still has paint on them and when they removed the paint it was left looking awful. They didn’t replace the damaged boards as promised. There are several more things but too many to list in a...
