I just left the little Saigon street festival in Fields Corner. I purchased the Kuya plate and an extra order of the bbq chicken skewers to share. I was shocked at the price but I was beyond hungry and I’m still waiting on the K1 visa process for asawa ko to be here. I was severely disappointed by the portion size for the very high cost of the plate. I could have gotten twice as much food for less than half the money at Yuen bbq right behind the booth. I paid $43 for a small portion of cold rice, about 1/2 a cup of very bland and very dry lechon. The beef lumpia tasted like there was barely any seasoning in them and were overcooked and burnt in spots. The chicken skewers were not bad once you cut away the char. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 was because I am almost full after I bought a drink!!! I can’t get it to let me add the pic I took to show the dismal portion and I’m happy my Filipina wasn’t here to...

We had Kuya’s Cooking cater my nephew’s birthday party, and it was absolutely amazing! Chef Aldrin truly delivered — as someone from California who grew up with incredible Filipino food, my expectations were high, and they were definitely met.

We ordered a whole lechon (perfectly crispy skin and juicy meat!), pancit bihon, lumpia, garlic rice, and pork BBQ skewers — everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Guests couldn’t stop going back for seconds (and thirds).

It’s not easy finding great Filipino food in Boston, but Kuya’s Cooking exceeded all our hopes. The whole process was smooth, the portions were generous, and the food brought so much joy to the celebration. Can’t wait to order again for...

If I could give negative stars, I would without hesitation I tried this at one of the vendors at the Boston Asian Festival at Harvard, and it was a complete disaster. This wasn’t just a bad meal—it was a full-blown scam. The pictures on the menu promised a fresh, appetizing dish, but what I received looked like it had been scraped off someone else's plate. The presentation was pathetic, the portion was laughable, and awful service killed my appetite. The food tasted worse than stale leftovers—greasy, cold, and hard that made me question its freshness. It’s outrageous to charge $19 for what amount to false advertising and inedible slop. Avoid this place...

Lumpiang Gulay was absolutely delicious! Despite being fried, the vegetables inside were fresh and flavorful. Dipping it in vinegar added a refreshing twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. The texture was perfect, and the overall balance of flavors was impressive. The Calamansi Chicken was equally amazing!!! The chicken was incredibly juicy, and the crispy coating added a delightful crunch. The calamansi sauce perfectly cut through the richness of the fried chicken, offering a balanced blend of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors. The Pineapple butter and Ube mochi waffle was truly delicious too! Overall, every dish was a hit!
