This is a cute little store and it looks like they have many good things. Sadly, both times I have been in, it has smelled like cigarette smoke, more so in the back of the store than the front. Today the smell was so bad I could smell it on my clothes after I left. Not only is this illegal, but I feel bad for the young, probably school-aged kids that work there. They are being forced to work under these conditions and are probably either too scared or embarrassed to say anything for fear of losing their jobs. If I were more a busy-body type of person, I’d report them to the department of health. These offenses carry big fines and it could cripple a business like this. I can only hope ownership/management reads this and understands the severity of this and the damage they could be doing to their employees and customers. If I had children working there I would make them resign and look for work elsewhere. So nice to see our local hardware store become a Stihl dealer. Even better that they are willing to work on other brands as the Stihl dealer I've been driving twice as far to will only repair Stihl saws. I brought a Poulan and Craftsman in last week and got them back today, the Poulan runs great again and the Craftsman we elected not to repair; I appreciate they called and talked it over with me before undertaking expensive repairs on that lightweight model. The charge was very reasonable. Prices are a bit wild here. I can't justify spending 30% over list price on everything just to avoid driving an extra 15 miles... $85 for a 4-1/2" hole saw & an arbor?
