Tusen Tack Thrift Store — Local services in Braham

I’m going to be very honest - good and bad review - good first: excellent assortment of anything you may need or want and great prices! Bad: there was 1 specific female staff 60s? Unsure her name she has shorter hair than the cashier that actually rang us up but she walked around the store making extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary comments.. my friend brought me to this thrift store so I thought she knew her .. I didn’t laugh at these comments such as “GEEZ YA THINK YA BOUGHT ENOUGH GLASS PRODUCTS” and then “GREAT NOW ILL HAVE TO DO MORE WORK” I first thought she knew my friend and was just trying to be sarcastic and funny but it was extremely rude and I finally had to say something to my friend if she knew her and my friend said absolutely not - so the lady continued basically stalking and continued to make rude comments to us as customers and I looked at her and didn’t laugh because it’s rude and her manager needs to be aware how she treats people coming in - the women said “just don’t feel like it today - ya know to be here” and I responded “it’s very obvious” and that’s when it ended I work with people all my life and I understand bad days etc - this experience was extremely uncomfortable and the owner needs to have a talk to her immediately

I have been shopping at this gem of a thrift store since I was a teenager and they we in a different building. If I would have given a rating 2 years ago it would have been 6 out of 5 starts. The reason for the 3 stars is because the prices have skyrocketed. I understand the inflation factor. And since the Covid sham decimated our society as well as our economy, prices needed to be adjusted. That being said, when the price on a certain item would have been $3-$5 and now it’s $30… I hate to say it, but this place is now no different than a goodwill or savers. And in reality, more and more frequently, its actually more expensive than those places. 🤷‍♂️ no longer worth making the special...

Staff is very friendly, except for one lady who has rude comments about people’s purchases and is exceptionally rude and condescending. If she doesn’t like serving the community she volunteers for go home. The store is very organized and plenty to choose from. Prices on the other hand are way out of touch with the community it serves. Unfortunately the prices have tripled in the last few years. They have to remember items are donated to the store and marking up to retail prices is ridiculous. You serve a poor community. There sales have to be down with the...
